In this segment of Drone Dish, host Tyler Mason catches up with Grim Berge, one of the top aerial videographers in Europe.  Hailing from Norway, he was nominated for the Drone Video Awards in each of its first two seasons, "Summer is Coming" for the first and "Discover Norway: A 100 Day Journey" for the second.  Having started flying back in 2012 with custom-made drones, Grim is a wealth of aerial filming knowledge, and his work has been featured in numerous TV shows, movies, and commercials.  

Top contributor Robin Maerter knows that flying drones in his home country Germany can be challenging, especially for the types of videos he makes which often involve cars and people.  As he relates in this episode of Drone Dish, that's why most of his best content (including his DVA nominated "Lion's Run - Summer South 2018") were shot outside of Germany, in places like France, Indonesia, and Thailand.  His favorite shoot he's ever done? Born in South Africa and now living in Australia, top content creator Sandrine Hecq is a world-traveling, drone-flying adventurer.  She has become a juggernaut on Instagram, with over 50k followers as of the beginning of 2019, and her video "My Drone Story" was picked as a finalist for the second annual DVA's.  On this episode of The Drone Dish, Sandrine talks about how she got into travel vlogging, what it's like to fly in Zimbabwe, the Maldives, her adopted new home in Western Australia, and what's next.

Top content creator and drone pilot Oliver Astrologo has been flying drones since 2014 but creating films for much longer. In his films of places like Malta, Myanmar, and Catalonia, he focuses on combining epic aerials with ground footage of both people and places. In this episode of Drone Dish, host Tyler Mason caught up with the award-winning drone pilot Jay Worsley.  Jay traveled from his home in Phoenix, Arizona to the New York City Drone Film Festival, where one of his entries was a finalist.  Jay's videos of the Southwestern USA's spectacular landscapes are some of the most popular videos on AirVuz; his classic "Perspective" won the "Landscapes" category in the first annual Drone Video Awards, and "Ethos" was selected as a Finalist for the second.

Like many great aerial cinematographers Fabio Knoll first started flying drones when he was hired to work on a popular TV show in his home country, Brazil. He says he likes using drone shots as establishing shots and that he loves using his UAV to capture the experience of a location.
