Archidona (Arriexiduna "la que tiene cercado de piedra" )
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Archidona is a very old Spanish town in Málaga, the next-to-southernmost of the eight provinces which make up Spain's semi-autonomous Andalusia region. Seen here in this drone video by PJF Drone, it's located in the foothills across the mountains which run across much of the province. The area is home to some of the oldest human remains found in Europe, and for a time during the Middle Ages it was an important center of Moorish (Muslim) power. In 1980, the city was declared a Historic-Artistic site under Spanish law.
