The Blessing of the Fleet in Bucerias, Nayarit, Mexico is an over 50 years old tradition . Local fishermen travel with their decorated vessels in a cross formation from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to the beach of Bucerias to receive a blessing for their safety and a successful fishing season . This event is the highlight finale of a week long local festival .
