The Cinque Terre is located in the Liguria region of Italy, on the stretch of Ligurian Sea coastline commonly referred to as the Italian Riviera. The name refers to the five constituent villages. These villages date to the 11th-12th centuries, and achieved worldwide prominence when the mighty Republic of Genoa flourhed during the Renaissance. AirVuz contributor and pilot Shane McGrath Photography used a drone to to create this amazing bird's eye look at this quintissentially Italian sight.

The beautiful Cinque Terre, Italy from above. The Cinque Terre is located in the Liguria region of Italy on the Italian Riviera. Cinque Terre meaning "The Five Lands" comprises of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.
