Cartagena de Indias
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this excellent drone video of Cartagena Colombia by la.drones. Cartagena is one of the oldest and historically significant cities in the Western Hemisphere. Founded by Spanish Conquistadoras in the 16th century, it became the most important port in the Spanish Empire. Its role as a cultural center continues; Nobel laureate Gabriel García Márquez spent his formative years as a journalist in Cartagena, and his modern classic 1985 novel Love in the Time of Cholera is believed to have been set in the great city on the Caribbean.
