Chernobyl that you will no longer see
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
In this chilling yet thorough aerial tour of the Chernobyl disaster site - courtesy of drone pilot Smakozawr - remnants from the nuclear accident on April 26, 1986, are seen in the plain light of day. The video shows many facets of the destruction, including the abandoned city of Pripyat, founded solely to serve the plant, the plant's train station, which was instead used for rescue and evacuation in the days after the accident, and a car cemetery, the only conceivable method for disposing of vehicles forever tainted by radioactivity.

Nowadays it is difficult to find a person who has not heard of the terrible tragedy in Chernobyl. On the Internet you can find a lot of information about the exclusion zone, about Chernobyl, about the ghost town of Pripyat, even a chic series from HBO was shot. After my searches on the Internet, I did not find a decent job of aerial photography about Chernobyl and I decided to go to the exclusion zone to show unique shots of locations that are disappearing every day. People who go on excursions do not suspect how much more interesting things can be seen, and unfortunately the last time, because nature takes away what it previously belonged to. Smakadron considers it his duty to show you the area as it is now and to preserve these historical shots for future generations.
