The church of St. Clement on the south coast of Harris was built 1520 as a last resting place for clan chief MacLeod of Dunvegan and Harris. It was abandoned after the reformation of 1560 and restored around 1860. The stonework including the grave markers is of surprisingly good quality. Then it's off to the ferry to North Uist.
