The National Palace of Culture is one of the modern landmarks of Sofia, Bulgaria. Located just south of the historical core of the Bulgarian capital city, the Palace is the largest conference and convention facility in Southeastern Europe. Opened in 1981, it was built in commemoration of the 1300th anniversary of the founding of the first Bulgarian state. Seen here in this drone video by nikolov_kn, the Palace has usable floor space totaling 123k square meters or around 1.3 million square ft.

The National Palace of Culture is the national cultural center in Sofia for conferences, exhibitions and special events, the largest congress center in Southeastern Europe. The main purpose of the building, which has 13 halls and is located in the city center, is to be used for cultural events. The construction of the National Palace of Culture was part of the initiatives in 1981 to mark the 1300th anniversary of the establishment of the First Bulgarian State. The largest hall (Hall 1) has 3380 seats. The building is spread over 123,000 m², spread over 8 floors and 3 underground levels.
