Sightseeing platform Orlovo Oko (Eagle's eye)
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and pilot RebelAct brings us this excellent drone video from a well-known observation platform in the mountains of Bulgaria. It's called the Eagle's Eye (Orlovo Oko), and it's located near the town of Yagodino in the Rhodope Mountains. The platform is built at an altitude of just over 5.1k ft. above sea level (around 1.55k m). It's most easily accessible via a roughly 2.5 hour drive from Plovdiv, Bulgaria's second-largest city. The Rhodope Mountains cover much of southerwestern Bulgaria and a small area of Greece.

Orlovo Oko (Eagle's eye) is a sightseeing platform in the west part of the Rodopi Mountain close to the Yagodinska Cave. The platform was built on top of the St. Ilia peak in 2009 by the local tourist club called Rodopeya. The Orlovo Oko sightseeing platform is at 1563m height. From up there you could see the Buinovsko Zhdrelo, the village of Borino, the village of Chala and the village of Yagodina. And further away you could see parts of the Pirin and Rila Mountains, even some parts of Greece and its peaks.
