St. Mark's Lighthouse by Day

If you are visiting Tallahassee, it is well worth the 1/2 hour drive to St Mark's Lighthouse state park in St. Marks, Florida. Beautiful and serene here. The beaches are beautiful along the Gulf of Mexico and the sunsets are incredible. I did some nature photography near the lighthouse and to my surprise, there are a lot of alligators roaming and swimming freely about in th area. Note to self, do not bring your small dog for a walk around here. Otherwise, if you need an escape and like lighthouses like I do, well worth the drive, just your leave your troubles behind....
