Visiting Houston Texas 2020
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and pilot Bumble Bee Productions spent several weeks in Houston, Texas during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Spring of 2020. Working on a response related to the novel coronavirus, he had an opportunity to film the great city as it was virtually shut down to fight the spread of the deadly virus. The result is this excellent if somewhat haunting drone video collage of one of the USA's largest cities; it includes footage of the Hines Waterwall in the Galleria area, the downtown skyscrapers, the Convention Center, and more.

I was working on a COVID -19 related response in Houston and while there, I met some great and amazing Constables from the 1st precinct and others on the project. I had a little time to drone mostly after work different areas in Houston, mostly in the day or early evening times. I had done several aerial videos post Hurricane Harvey a few years back, mostly at night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6vqEbF1Rao&t=266s Like most major city dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, the streets were almost empty, the highways minimal traffic and the silence deafening. Great time to drone for sure. I used Hannah B (Mavic 2 Pro) to capture aerial perspective of this diverse and dynamic city.
