Congratulations to the winner of episode 26 of our Drone Video of the Week contest: johannesbloechl for his video Greece | Peloponnes by Drone. Johannes and his girlfriend visited prehistoric cities in the Peloponnese region on vacation, and he brought his DJI Mavic Pro with him. While driving more than 1200 miles in 5 days, Johannes was able to see — and drone — a lot. Despite encountering some high winds, Johannes captured stunning footage of the area’s coast, as well as some of the ancient ruins and historic architecture. For being selected as our Drone Video of the Week winner, Johannes takes home $250 and is now eligible to win our Drone Video of the Month. Greece | Peloponnese by Drone

The Peloponnese Region is a peninsula in southern Greece, connected to the central part of the country by the Isthmus of Corinth land bridge and since 2004 by the Rio Rio–Antirrio bridge. You can see the gorgeous part of Greece in this aerial film by contributor and drone pilot johannesbloechl, who also visited the Apollo Temple in Corinth and the Poseidon Temple near Athens (both of which are in the Central Greece region). This stunning 4K piece earned him a Done Video of the Week award in August, 2019.
