Check out this fantastic DVOW nominated drone reel from top AirVuz contributor Fabio Knoll.  The Brazilian native, who was a Finalist for the first annual Drone Video Awards, put together a compilation of some of his best footage from his travels  across South America, Africa, and Asia.  Some of the highlights include Jordan's Wadi Rum Desert, the volcanic Mt. Bromo in Indonesia, Peru's Rainbow Mountain, the glaciers of Patagonia in southern Chile, Victoria Falls in southern Africa, the rainforests of Brazil's Amazon River Basin, and more.

Prepare to be blown away by this stunning 60-second dronelapse piece from Florence, Italy, compliments of top AirVuz contributor iDrone Aerials.  This DVOW winning video opens with epic footage of the most well-known landmark in this city: the Florence Cathedral in the Piazza del Duomo.  This is followed by a magnificent shot looking over the Arno River, the main waterway in the city which gave birth to the Renaissance.  Other highlights include a great shot of the Basilica of the Holy Cross at the :23 mark, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge (:50), and more. ,

Check out this DVOW nominated film of New York City's Queens Plaza, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot thedronalist.  The Plaza marks the western end of Queens Boulevard, a major thoroughfare which runs through the city's second-largest borough by population after Brooklyn.  The site of a major subway station, the plaza was built in connection with the construction of the Queensborough Bridge over the East River into Manhattan, which lies just west of the plaza and was completed in 1909.

Closed City of Moscow, Russia During the Coronavirus Pandemic

Top contributor pushkinflyteam brings us this incredible albeit shocking drone video from Moscow as Europe's largest city was virtually shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the Spring of 2020.  This DVOW nominated film opens with a shot looking toward the ultra-modern Moscow City skyscraper district.  Starting at about 1:20 there's a shot flying over the nearly-empty Krymsky Bridge, and at 3:35 you'll see the Church of Christ the Savior.  Other spots featured include the Kremlin (3:50), the Ostankino TV Tower (4:10), and more.
