2020 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 34

Check out these magnificent drone views of Rovinj, Croatia, compliments of AirVuz contributor mares traveling.  Rovinj is a port town situated on the western side of Istria, an arrow-shaped landform which points downward into the Adriatic Sea from northwestern Croatia.  For centuries, Rovinj it was under the control of Venice and played a key role in the Venetian Empire's dominance of the Adriatic region.  The video features excellent footage of St. Euphemia's Basilica, Rovinj's most prominent landmark, as well as the outlying islands.

Prepare to be blown away by this magnificent drone video of Mexico's ancient city of Teotihuacan, compliments of award-winning contributor Postandfly.  Located about 40 km (around 25) northeast of central Mexico City, Teotihuacan was the center of a Mesoamerican civilization which pre-dated the Mayan and Aztec civilizations by centuries and the Spanish arrival in the Western Hemisphere by over 1,500 years.  At its height around 500 AD, the city was the largest in the Americas and one of the half-dozen largest in the world.  

Airvūz contributor Drone Eye Perspective created this stunning video of one of the most beautiful sights of the English southern coast.  The Seven Sisters are a series of chalk cliffs in East Sussex, between the towns of Eastbourne and Seaford.  They are part of the South Downs complex which cover a portion of the coast of Southeastern England.  The cliffs have appeared in numerous TV shows and movies; for example, they appear at the end of the 2007 film Atonement.  This video was a Drone Video of the Week nominee in August 2020.
