Every week, our team reviews every video uploaded to the site to pick the Top 5 videos. Then, we name our favorite as our Drone Video of the Week and send that drone pilot $ 250. Explore Iceland by drone in this magnificent aerial video by brand-new AirVuz contributor and drone pilot AndriThor, which was nominated for the Drone Video of the Week in October of 2020.  On this spectacular aerial tour you will be treated to a bird's eye views of the North Atlantic island's expansive canyons, gushing waterfalls, glacial lagoons, lush valleys and spectacular coastal rock formations.  Notable locations include the Dettifoss and Aldeyjarfoss waterfalls, as well as the Stuðlagil Canyon. 

Top AirVūz contributors and pilots DroneProduction.ru take us on a fantastic journey over the Caucasus Mountains in southern Russia to see the autumn colors during sunset. Filmed just a bit to the northeast of the Black Sea city of Sochi,  this aerial film offers breathtaking sights of the Krasnaya Polyana, area which was hosted numerous skiing and snowboarding venues for the 2014 Winter Olympics.  This video was selected as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week in in October of 2020.

Two-time Drone Video Award Winner and 2020 New York City Drone Film Festival Multi-Finalist Timelab.Pro brings us this masterpiece from western Switzerland.  The video features stunning footage of spots throughout the region known variously as Romandy and French-Speaking Switzerland.  Opening with shots of the mighty Bernese Alps, the piece then takes you to the giant glacier-fed Émosson Dam, the great Chillon Castle on (the also glacial-fed) Lake Geneva; from there you'll head to the lake's namesake city; the de facto regional capital . 

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist timoksanen brings us this spectacular drone video from Finland's Lapland region at the height of the Fall colors season.  The video was filmed around the town of Kilpisjärvi, which is part of the municipality of Enontekiö in the far northwestern corner of this Scandinavian country.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone, it was filmed in mid-September, with the short summer already a distant memory.   The latitude here is about 69 degrees north, putting it well inside the Arctic Circle.  

AirVuz contributor and pilot Dani Massaro brings us this fantastic DVOW nominated film from the Apennine Mountains in the Abruzzo region of east-central Italy.  In addition to some stunning aerial views of the mountain peaks, the video features footage of one of Italy's most famous landmarks: the fortress of Rocca di Calasco.  Part of the province of L'Aquila, the fortification sits at an altitude of just under 1.5k meters above sea level (a little under 5k ft) and is the highest fortress of the Apennines.
