2021 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 13

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner FrameworkFilms brings us this outstanding drone video from the Central Coast of California.  The video opens with a dramatic shot of the Bixby Bridge, which lies near the northern end of the Big Sur route and was featured in the opening credits of the hit HBO TV series Big Little Lies.  Featuring some magnificent timelapse sequences, the video will take you over some of the most dramatic natural scenery in the USA, far removed from the teeming streets of San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Top AirVuz contributor AndriThor chalked up a second Drone Video of the Week Win in April of 2021 with this amazing piece from Iceland.  The video alternates between scenes of nature and "civilization" on this volcanic North Atlantic island, which in recent years has been seeing tourist traffic of over 10x its full-time population of around 350k.  Ride along for some epic views of some of Iceland's legendary landscapes, as well as shots of some of its iconic villages and the capital city of Reykjavik.  

Prepare to be amazed by these dramatic drone views of the Bavarian Alps, compliments of top AirVuz contributor and pilot Akos Kovacs.  Filmed in the winter, the video features stunning aerial perspectives of what many consider to be the most scenic part of this large Central European country.  Part of the Northern Limestone Alps, the range covers a significant portion of Bavaria, the state which covers roughly the southeastern quadrant of the country.  This video was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week in April, 2021. 

Check out this outstanding drone video from the Highlands of Iceland, compliments of talented content creator and pilot _mishamartin.  The area filmed is called Kerlingarfjöll, which is a mountain range near the center of this North Atlantic island.  Located adjacent to the plateau of Kjölur, the mountains here reach a maximum elevation of around 4.85k ft. above sea level or just under 1.5k meters.  This video was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in early April of 2021.  

AirVuz contributor and pilot Het bloklandcoptersteam brings us this excellent drone video from the famously flat countryside of the Netherlands.  The wintertime video was filmed over the Alblasserwaard, which is what's known as a polder - basically a stretch of land which has been reclaimed or which is protected from the incursions of the sea with a system of dykes.  Located in the province of South Holland, as you'll see the landscape is ideal for ice skating.  This video was a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in April, 2021.
