2022 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 8

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner haussmannvisuals has been in the forefront of aerial videographers who have learned to pilot first person view (FPV) drones.  In this amazing video, he puts his considerable piloting and content creation skills to work on a trip to the northern part of Norway.  The video was filmed over the Lofoten Islands, an archipelago just above the Arctic Circle, and the island of Senja, which lies well to the north.  The piece combines FPV footage with shots from a DJI Mavic Pro 2.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner la.drones brings us this stunning drone video from the volcanoes of Guatemala in Central America.  The video was filmed from the perspective of Acatenango, an inactive stratovolcano just west of the city of Antigua.  The video features amazing footage of the adjacent Volcán de Fuego, which is a highly active volcano - it erupts at a low level every 15-20 minutes, and explosively as recently as late 2018.  The volcanoes are part of the great volcanic belt which runs down the length of Central America.  

Take in these stunning aerial views of Chicago, Illinois, compliments of multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist New Entertainment Pictures.  The video opens with shots of the twin-antennaed John Hancock Center, now known as 875 Michigan Avenue.  At the :30 mark, there's a nice view of the historic Drake Hotel, followed by Millennium Park.  At the 1:00 mark, you'll see the Outer Drive Bridge over the Chicago River.  Other featured locations include the "El" elevated train line, Lincoln Park (4:00), and more.  

Take in these stunning drone views of Hong Kong, compliments of new contributor Tiboriane.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 on a brilliant clear morning, the first part of the video was filmed over the Kowloon Peninsula, which lies on the mainland across Victoria Harbor from the island of Hong Kong.  Here you'll get a good look at the Victoria Dockside tower at Kowloon's southern tip.  The video closes with shots of Two International Finance Centre, which lies on Hong Kong Island and which is the city's second-tallest skyscraper.  

Prepare to be amazed by this first person view (FPV) drone reel by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Andre_ZeFpv.  The video opens with some coastal cruising shots, followed by a bridge fly-through and some car chasing.  Fast-moving and extremely well edited, the video features footage from round the world, including Iceland and the Azores islands, a Portuguese archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list at the end of February of 2022.
