You may have seen drone video of France's Mont-Saint-Michel, the tidal island which lies off the coast of Normandy.  However, you've probably never seen anything like this first person view (FPV) video of the great 8th century monastery-fortress which sits atop the isand, compliments of contributor and FPV pilot Fincky.  In cooperation with the  Le Centre des Monuments Nationaux, the town of Mont-Saint-Michel, and Paris Match magazine, he used an FPV racing quad to create a highly cinematic view of one of France's most iconic sites.

To see the power of cinematic first person view (FPV) video, check out this stunning piece from the ruins of ancient Rome by former Drone Video Award winner Druno.  He was able to fly his FPV quadcopter through the Forum, the heart of Imperial Rome and one of the world's most famous archaelogical sites.  Opening with a shot of the Colosseum, he heads into the great public square immediately to its north, which was the heart of the Roman Republic and later Imperial Rome.  From the Temple of Saturn to the Arh of Titus, you will be astounded.

Here's something you definitely don't see every day: a first person view (FPV) video from a racing drone cruising one of the world's most famous racetracks.  AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot vitopulverenti was able to get permission from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to fly around the fabled track at the Indy 500 venue.  Located about 10 km (around 6 mi.) west of downtown Indianapolis, the roughly 4 km (around 2.5 mi.) oval track is the largest sports venue in the world; it has capacity for over a quarter-million spectators.

Built of stone and masonry for the military, never for nobles, the great Rocca Calascio is a mountaintop fortress in the Province of L’Aquila in Abruzzo, Italy.  It’s the highest fortress in the Apennines, the chain of mountains which runs down the "spine" of Italy.   First person view (FPV) mini quad pilot CataFpv flew his 5-inch quad to fly around the ancient fortress in central Italy, using his skills as a pilot and video editor to create this epic video.  This piece was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in May of 2019.

Monument Circle in Indianapolis, Indiana is home to the Sailors and Soldiers Monument, which was completed in 1902.  This limestone monument is now a symbol of both it's home city and state, and due to the empty streets caused by the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, it was an alluring challenge for FPV pilot vitopulverenti.  Watch this cinematic edit in which he uses his GoPro, his skilled flying manuevers and ReelSteady to create an epic freestyling treat.  We enjoyed it so much we put him on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in April 2020.

The Grand Mosque, Central Java

Located in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, the Great Mosque of Central Java can be seen by first person view (FPV) drone, courtesy of AirVuz contributor BanzaiFPV. The mosque covers 25 acres and has three central buildings arranged in the shape of a U with the domed mosque at the centre. In the central courtyard are six hydraulically operated umbrellas; closed in this video, they are used to protect worshipers from the rain or sun and represent the six tenets of iman. This video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in November, 2019.

Gangneung is a city on the east coast of South Korea.  The city was the host of four of the venues featured in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games: Gangneung Hockey Centre, home of men’s ice hockey; Gangneung Curling Centre, home to the curling competition; Gangneung Oval which housed the speed skating track; Gangneung Ice Area, home to speed skating’s short track and figure skating.  In this video, RussellFPV flew his first person view (FPV) quad at through the area, earning himself a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in April, 2019.

Taking it all in one line, with sixteen-seconds on the clock, InspireFPV brings us this FPV video of Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants.  Located in the South Beach neighborhood, the park hosted the 2002 World Series and the 2007 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, among other memorable games.  For capturing this landmark via FPV, our contributor earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in October, 2019.

AirVuz contributor and FPV drone pilot Drone Huenchurs used a BetaFPV 85x with a "naked" GoPro to create this short but stunning FPV piece from one of the world's most recognized landmarks: the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.  The small "cinewhoop" style drone is the perfect platform to film the wrough-iron tower on the Champs de Mars  Constructed for the 1889 World's Fair, the 324 meter tower (1.08k ft.) was the world's tallest man-made structure for over four decades.  This video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in August of 2020.

The Wignacourt Aqueduct is a 17th-century aqueduct in Malta that was built to carry water from the springs of Dingli and Rabaatto the capital of Valletta that was created when the Knights of St. John took over control of the island. The aqueduct spans 26.5 km (16.46 miles). Tas-Salvatur Hill can be seen from most of the island of Gozo (part of the Maltese archipelago), and is topped by the statue of the Risen Christ, placed there in the 1970’s. Château Gaillard, located in France's Eure department in Normandy, is a beautiful castle ruin and remnant of the medieval era.  It was strategically perched high on a hill with clear views of the River Seine and it provided just the backdrop for Raphael Rablat to take a flight that would place him on our March 2020 FPV Pilots to Watch list. World's Largest Gas Station

Drone pilot Nikofilmz found the planet's largest Chevron gas station in Las Vegas, Nevada and saw nothing but an excellent opportunity to rip it up (times 96, to be exact).  He and his friend @doctor.carter had their quadcopters, armed with a Go Pro Hero 6 and 8, ready for some killer air-to-air through the rows and around the station, making some FPV magic.  It looked like a gas, and we were pretty pumped, so we put Nikofilmz on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in March 2020.

You may have seen drone videos of the famous Hollywood sign in the hills above Los Angeles, but probably othing like what you will see in this first person view (FPV) video by AirVuz contributor and pilot mrgeekseeks.  Using an FPV-equipped racing quad, he gives us this unique perspective on one of California's most iconic sights.  Loated in the Hollywood Hills area in the Santa Monica Mountains, the 14 meter (roughly 45 ft.) landmark was originally created in 1923 as a temporary real estate advertisement.

Check out this amazing first person view (FPV) video of a famous fortress in Croatia, compliments of contributor and FPV pilot Livyu FPV.  It's called St. Nicholas Fortress, and it's located in the town of Šibenik, which lies just north of Split on the Dalmatian Coast.  The fortress was built in the early 16th century by the Venetians who controlled the Dalmatian Coast at the time; it guards the entrance to the town's harbor.  Designed by a famous architect from Venice, St. Nicholas is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

See Thailand’s massive and stunning Wat Huay Pla Klang in this FPV video by pilot buddha.eyez. The temple complex features a 9-floor pagoda with 23 surrounding structures and, of course, the giant Goddess of Mercy statue. The statue is often mistakenly called Chiang Rai’s Big Buddha. The temple is also nicknamed the “9-tier temple,” and has a staircase that has a dragon head going up inside the pagoda, which you can easily see in this drone video.  This was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in November, 2019.

AirVuz contributor and FPV Pilot tamtantrik, brings us these first person view (FPV) dive sessions from Turkey's Afyonkarahisar Castle and Ulu Mosque in the Afyon Province of Central Anatolia.  Afyonkarahisar Castle was built around 1350 BC and is the massive, historical fort in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey on the rocky cliff you see in this video. Below it is Anyone Ulu Camii, a historical mosque that was built back in 1272.  This video earned our contributor a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in November, 2019.

See the exterior of the Chase Center by first person view (FPV) drone in this cool, one-line freestyle flight by pilot InspireFPV. The indoor area is home to the six-time NBA National Champion Golden State Warriors of San Francisco, California. The venue broke ground on January, 17th, 2017, the same year one of their championship rings was earned. It is located in the Mission Bay neighborhood and can hold just over 18,000 people. This video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in November, 2019.

The Dom Luis Bridge, Porto, Portugal




Check out this stunning first person view (FPV) video of the great Portuguese city of Porto (Oporto), compliments of contributor and FPV pilot  Shot at sunset, the "star" of the video is the Dom Luís I Bridge, the first in the city to span the Douro River.  The bridge was designed by French civil engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose name is affixed to the famous tower in Paris.  When the bridge opened in 1888, it was the world's longest metal arch bridge; its upper deck has a total lenth of 395 meters (just under 1.3k ft.).

Check out this amazing first person view (FPV) video of one of the most famous Welsh fortresses, compliments of contributor and FPV pilot Droneruk.  Caernarfon Castle situated in County Gwynedd in the northwestern part of Wales.  The current structure dates to the late 13th century, and was part of a system of fortresses built by England's King Edward I as part of his campaign to pacify Wales.  The castle later played an important role in the English Civil War which raged in the mid-17th century.

You may have heard of or even seen videos of the Motherland statue in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, but you've probably never seen it from the perspective you'll get in this first person view (fpv) video.  The giant monument known locally as Rodina Mat stands just over 100 meters (330 ft.) above the hills overlooking the Dneiper River.  It commemorates the immense losses sustained by the Ukraine in the Great Patriotic War, aka World War II, when the country was part of the USSR.  The statue is part of a WWII museum.

Top first person view (FPV) pilot and drone racer JohnnyFPV, who travels the world making FPV freestyle videos, created this magnificent video from Mada'in Saleh, an archaelogical site in northwestern Saudi Arabia .  With full permission from the requisite authorities, he gives us a unique view of one of the most iconic desert landscapes from the vantage of a quad-mounted GoPro. This was the Winning video in the 2nd Annual Drone Video Awards in the Cinematic FPV category and was FPV Video of the Year.

The Liberty Statue of Freedom Statue is a monument on the Gallery Hill in Budapest, Hungary. Opened in 1947 it was created to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the independence and prosperity of the country.  Erected at the end of World War II after the Soviet liberation of the country from Nazi Germany (which invaded Hungary following its attempt to switch sides), the statue used to have verbiage in Russian that has since been removed. The Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge was completed over 100 years ago in 1909 over the East River in New York City, New York. The Hagia Sophia of Istanbul, Turkey is one of the world's most important architectural landmarks.  Formerly a Greek Orthodox Christian cathedral, then an Ottoman imperial mosque, and now a museum, the massive, domed-structure was built in the Middle Ages and for centuries had the distinction of being the world's largest building.   AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Enes_Fpv hit up the landmark and set his cinematic FPV skills to the test over the incredible, ancient structure.

Most of us have seen incredible drone footage of Germany's iconic  Neuschwanstein Castle, but never the likes of what first person view (FPV) pilot TimFeistner offers up in this video.  While the stunning landmark in Bavaria was closed in response to the Coronavirus pandemic, this skilled freestyler found a silver lining and used the opportunity to cruise around the castle and it's breathtaking environs. Diving the "fairy tale" spires, he gives us a tour that's most definitely not on the usual sightseeing agenda

The Lakhta Center, which was completed in 2018, stands nearly half a kilometer (460 meters, or about 1.5k ft.) above St. Petersburg, Russia.  It is, by a significant margin, the tallest building in Europe.  While it was being built, contributor and FPV pilot Controlflow took an epic dive down the building using a racing drone.  As you watch it that the drone is being flown via video goggles at ground level. The dive has made itself a nominee in our 2nd Annual Drone Video Awards FPV Freestyle Technical category.

See one of the most popular and prominent attractions in the Crimean peninsula, the Genoese Fortress, in this Travel FPV video by craig_dt. It's located near Sudak, in the middle of Crimea's southeastern coastline.  Built in 1371, the fortress was a stronghold of the Soldayya colony with wall that was nearly 2 meters (6 ft.) thick. Craig_dt is also giving us an aerial tour of Mount Mithridat, a large hill located on the eastern Kerch Peninsula in Crimea. The view from the top of the hill is impeccable, stretching out as far as the shore.

The Château Saint-Sixte is a 12th century castle in the commune of Freistroff, France. The medieval castle was built by Wirich de Valcourt, but nearly fell into ruin until the Gehl family purchased it in 1986. The chateau is open to visitors every day from April through October and is listed on the monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.  First person view (FPV) pilot FantaZy used an FPV  micro-drone to give us this unique perspective of the important landmark, earning a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July, 2019.

Take a look at this very cool FPV flight featuring something we’ve never seen before - a partially submerged, sculpture barge.  Vizcaya, an estate named after Florida’s European founder, is located in Biscayne Bay. The estate is filled with remarkable artwork and architecture including the barge that was described as a “confused mass” by the property’s artistic director, filled with mermaids, tritons, Egyptian obelisks, in the manor’s typical Venetian style.  This video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in August, 2019.

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Dirty Seagulls put together this memorable FPV video of some important landmarks in Rome, Italy during Christmas season. The "star" of the show is the giant Victor Emmanuel II Monument, which was built in the early 20th century in honor of the King who presided over the unification of modern Italy in 1871.  You'll also see the nearby Piazza Venezia, famous for the speeches of Benito Mussolini held here. This flight earned him a Pilots to Watch nod in January of 2019.

Since it was completed in 1953, the Main Building of Moscow State University has been the most visible landmark in Moscow.  And yet, you've probably never seen this (rare) Stalinist architectural masterpiece from the perspective of a racing drone.  That's right.  Flying his racing quadcopter with first person view (FPV) goggles, Contributor Shelestpv took a dive down this massive structure, for decades the tallest building in Europe and still the world's tallest educational building.

Check out the Indonesian island paradise of Bali from an entirely new perspective in this first person view (FPV) video by contributor and FPV pilot Ryantlx.  He captured some epic FPV footage usingof this island in southern Indonesia a TBS Crossfire racing drone.  The highlight of the clip is some footage of a giant copper and brass statue of the Hindu God Wisnu which was then under construction; taking five years to build at a cost of over US$100 million, it's believed to be the world's largest statue.

One of the very few silver linings of the Spring, 2020 Covid-19 pandemic was the opportunity granted to first person view (FPV) pilots to capture scenes of places which ordinarily would be impossible to fly over.  Case in point is this fantastic FPV piece from top AirVuz contributor zippomaker.  He was able to use an FPV racing quad to film one of the most iconic sights of Europe: the Roman Colosseum.  One of the great landmarks of the Antiquity, the great open-air stadium was built in the first century AD and could hold up to 80k spectactors.

Contributor and FPV TapkiFPV created this epic first person view (FPV) dive of one of the most visible landmarks from Barcelona's 1992 Olympic Games.  The Montjuïc Communications Tower (aka Calatrava Tower) was constructed in the years leading up to the games as part of the broadcasting infrastructure for the event.  Located in the Olympic Park, the tower stands just over 135 meters (446 ft.) tall.  Watch the video to get a unique perspective on this landmark on the city's Montjuïc hill.

There is definitely "truth in advertising" in the title of this first person view (FPV) tour of Venice, Italy, compliments of contributor pilot tommasocodolo.  Using an FPV racing drone, he was able to fly over St. Marks's Square (Piazza San Marco) at one of the most unusual times in the city's centuries-old history: when it was virtually shut down in the Spring of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The video will show you one of Europe's most iconic spots virtually devoid of people, from the unique perspective afforded by a racing drone.

Located in Rudno, Poland the Tenczyn Castle is a medieval castle that was built as the seat of the once powerful Tęczyński family. The great landmark was completed in the early 14th century in the Polish Gothic-Polish Mannerism style.  Destroyed in the mid-17th century, it was rebuilt then fell to ruin after a fire in the mid-18th century.  Open to the public, it remains in a ruined state. Check out this unbelievable first person view (FPV) video of an epic diving session at South America's tallest building.  Contributor and FPV pilot prisvanrees strapped on his FPV goggles to take on the Gran Torre Santiago, the centerpiece of the Costanera Center office complex in the Chilean capital city.  Completed in 2013 at a cost of US $1 billion, the 64 story tower has an architectural height of 300 meters (984 ft.), making it the tallest building on the continent and one of the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere.

Prepare to be blown away by this highly cinematic first person view (FPV) "tour" of an ancient ruins site in Libya, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot  Using an FPV-equipped racing quad, he created a one-of-a-kind view of Leptis Magna, an ancient ruins site near the town of Khoms, about 130 km (80 mi.) east of the city of Tripoli.  Founded by Phoenicians in the 7th century BC, the city came into the orbit of Carthage and later Rome.  A Vandal kingdom after the Fall of Rome, it was abandoned in the 7th century AD.

Check out this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video of one of the architectural landmarks of New York City: the Dakota.  AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Sparkitekt used a racing quad to film the famous apartment co-operative, which is located at the intersection of Central Park West and 72nd St. on Manhattan's Upper West Side.  Completed in 1881, the Dakota was the site of one of the most shocking crimes of the 20th century: the gunshot murder of Beatles great John Lennon on December 8, 1980.

Check out this highly cinematic first person view (FPV) video from the storied French Alps city of Grenoble, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Drone My Life.  The video includes footage of the ski jump from the X Winter Olympic Games, which were played here in February, 1968.  The town of Grenoble lies at the foot of the Alps in Isère, one of the Departments of the giant Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.  It's considered the "capital" of the French Alps region as a whole.

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Dragon FPV brings us this highly cinematic FPV "tour" of a well-known football (soccer) stadium in southern Germany.  Known variously as the Augsburg Arena or the WWK Arena, it's located in the city of Augsburg, Bavaria.  Home of the FC Augsburg football team, the venue has capacity for abot 30k fans, about two-thirds of which can be seated.  The stadium opened in 2009.  This video earned our content creator a spot on the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in June, 2020.

Former DVOW Finalist zippomaker created this fantastic first person view (FPV) video of a landmark in Rome, Italy: the worldwide headquarters for the Fendi fashion house.  The building is called Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, and it's located in the EUR District south of central Rome.  It was constructed on the orders of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini as a monument to the planned 1942 World Expo, which never occurred due to World War II.  The building was left in a state of disrepair until it was renovated  by Fendi in the mid-2010's.

Check out this first person view (FPV) video from one of New York City's most famous landmarks, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Mattyfleisch.  He flew over and around the stainless steel representation of the earth known as the Unisphere.  Located in the Flushing Meadows neighborhood of Queens, the 43 meter high (140 ft.) sculpture was commissioned in connection with the 1964 World's Fair held here.  It is dedicated to "Man's Achievements on a Shrinking Globe in an Expanding Universe".

Drone Video Award Winner Druno brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) "cinewhoop" style drone video from a famous castle in Central Italy.  It's a great example of how these micro-drones with HD cameras are able to give one-of-a-kind views by being suitable for both outdoor and indoor flight.  Watch how he tours the exterior of this 16th century in the province of Lazio, then at the :30 cruises right through an open window to take a spin around the inside of the house.  It's all in HD video quality, and it's an amazing watch.  

Famous North Carolina Sculpture

This video came from a once-in-a-lifetime flying opportunity that came to FPV pilot quallsalmighty.  He the rare opportunity to fly around the famous Metalmorphosis in Charlotte, North Carolina. The modern art sculpture by artist David Cerny featured a huge head in the center of a circular fountain. The art piece is routinely disassembled and not available for viewing so that curators and museum staff can maintain the piece. In the mean time, the video earned our contributor a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in January, 2019.

It’s not every day that you get to fly through ancient ruins with a first person view (FPV) mini quad.  That's what contributor Livyu FPV did when he traveled to Greece and made the most of his time in this Roman theater.  Surrounded by olive trees, an FPV racing drone may well be the very best way to take in this scene.  Our favorite shots include his gap hits where you can see how thick the walls once were, and the wide, top-down shots showcasing the vastness of the coliseum.  This video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in December, 2018.

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot TreeFPV brings us this highly cinematic FPV view of the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.  Shot with just a single LIPO pack, the video will give you a unique perspective on the city's main outdoor arena as well as its grounds.  Built as part of a 90's upgrade of all of the city's sports facilities, Pepsi Center is the home of the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball League and the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League.  It seats 19.5k fans for basketball.

This one is quite the flight by Russell FPV. A little bit smooth flow, a little bit jagged, cutting technique mixed with such a weird opening location. Weird, but in a very cool way. He flies around a massive statue that includes a figure skater, ski jumper, and snowboarder on a rainbow statue, then rips through what appears to be an abandoned park. Is it abandoned or just empty for the season? Was it once an Olympic host or does it just seem like one? The mystery that surrounds this flight makes it that much better.

Contributor and drone pilot SustoFPV flew his racing drone via first person view (FPV) over the waters at the southern tip of the Japanese island Honshu near Itsukushima Shrine; this landmark is the only shrine in the world to have been built over surface of the sea and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The breathtaking film shows off the shrine from every angle (like only an FPV drone can) was a finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest and has been a favorite amongst viewers.

With most of the world's tallest skyscrapers having been tackled by first person view (FPV) pilots, attention turns to other types of tall structures.  Like churches.  In this epic FPV piece, AirVuz contributor uses his mini-drone to take on the world's tallest church.  It's the Ulm Minster, and it's located in its namesake city in the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg.  The church dates to the Middle Ages, although its steeple didnt reach its current height of 161.5 meters (530 ft. ) until the 19th century.

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot MrFPV brings us this fantastic FPV video from a famous spot in Lebanon.  It's called the Phoenician Wall, and it's located in the coastal city of Batroun.  Located about an hour's drive north of Beirut (and a bit shorter distance south of Tripoli), Batroun is one of the world's oldest continuously-inhabited cities.  The ancient seawall here, which dates to the first century BC, is about 225 meters long (around 750 ft.) and up to 1.5 meters thick (around 5 ft.).

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot minidrone studio brings us this outstanding FPV video of one of Europe's largest amusement parks: Europa-Park.   Located in southwestern Germany, it's the continent's second-most visited theme park after Disneyland Paris.  The video features some chase footage of a rollercoaster, one of 13 at the park.  The filming was undertaken in connection with Mercedes-Benz, a major sponsor of the park.  This video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in September, 2020.

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Davide Tomei used an FPV mini-quad to film one of the most prominent examples of Italy's Fascist-Era archicture.  It's the Town Hall of Latina, a city which was created under Italian dictator Benito Mussolini by draining an area which had been useless swampland.  Located about an hour's drive southeast of Rome, it's the second-largest city in the Lazio Region after the national capital.  The video also captures the fountain which sits adjacent to the Town Hall.

Top contributor and FPV pilot Ivan Merino created this highly cinematic FPV video of a famous church in northern Spain.  It's called the Basílica de Santa María la Real de Covadonga, and it's located in the town of Covadonga in the Asturias region.  The basilica was completed in 1901.  Located in the Picos de Europa Mountains, the site is of considerable historical significance: a battle here in the 8th century AD marked the first victory by Christian forces over those of Islam.  This video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July, 2020.

Check out these fantastic first person view (FPV) views of one of the most famous English castles, compliments of AirVuz contributor MGfpv.  Corfe Castle is situated on the Isle of Purbeck in County Dorset.  It was built on the orders of William the Conqueror shortly after the Norman Conquest in the late 11th century.  One of the first castles to be built with stone, the structure underwent substantial subsequent changes, including the introduction of a keep in the 12th century.  It's classified as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Viewers of the French TV game show Fort Boyard will likely recognize the subject of this fantastic first person view (FPV) video by FPV pilot R-project.   The show, which began in 1990 and is widely syndicated around the world, is set and filmed at this defensive fortification in the strait of Pertuis d'Antioche, between the cities of La Rochelle and Rochefort.  While a fortress was considered here during the reign of Louis XIV in the 17th century, its construction didn't begin until the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte in 1801.

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) earned himself a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in August, 2020 with this fantastic piece from Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.  Using a "cinewhoop" style drone, he was able to film the statues just outside the ballpark, the home of the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball and the venue for the 2019 All Star Game.  Using a "naked' GoPro 6 mounted to a BetaFPV 95x, his video of depictions of Hall of Famers Lou Boudreau, Larry Doby and Bob Feller is one for the ages.

Brand-new AirVuz contributor Pakyj88 used a first person view (FPV) mini quad to create this highly cinematic piece from a famous spot in Italy.  The "star" of the video is the Aragonese Castle, a landmark which sits atop a tiny island just offshore of the larger island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples.  Originally dating the the 5th century BC, the islet was connected to the "mainland" with a stone bridge by the Aragonese King Alfonso V in the 15th century, when the Spanish Kingdom of Aragon controlled much of the region.

Morandini.  He used a FPV mini-drone to film the public square known as the Plaza de España in the great city of Seville.  It was built in connection with the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929.  It's been used as a filming location for numerous movies, including Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002), in which it appeared as the City of Theed on Planet Naboo.

A first person view (FPV) mini-drone is the perfect way to tour a famous French chateau, as you will see in this stunningly cinematic piece by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Shikijo.  Skillfullly mixing in some gimbal-stabilized from his DJI Mavic Pro 2, he will give you a unique perspective on Château de Vizille, a historic landmark in the southeastern region of Dauphiné.  Dating to the Middle Ages, the castle went on to play an important role in the early stages of the French Revolution in the late 18th century.

Check out this highly cinematic first person view (FPV) video of a famous Dutch castle, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot SassySander.  He used a racing quad to film Muiden Castle, an important landmark at the mouth of the Vecht River, about 15 km (around 10 mi.) southeast of Amsterdam.  The castle was originally built in the 13th century, changing hands many times in the ensuing years.  One of the best-preserved castles in this small Western European country, Muiden has appeared in numerous TV shows.

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Lougedo has traveled quite a long ways to hit this dive. He’s at Valle de los Caidos or “Valley of the Fallen” a Catholic basilica and monumental memorial near Madrid, Spain. The cross seen in this piece is considered a landmark of 20th-century Spanish architecture and is the tallest in the world. The 150-meter (500 feet) high Christian cross was started in 1940 and took over 18 years to complete. One priest referred to it as a “national act of atonement.”

Check out this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video of one of the world's tallest statues, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot sharpwest.  He used his mini-drone to film the Guanyin of Nanshan, a 108 meter tall (354 ft.) landmark in the island nation of Taiwan.  Lcoated in the southern province of Hainan, the statue is dedicated to Guanyin, a bodhisattva (an important personage, in Buddhist nomenclature) associated with compassion.  Enshrined in 2005, the statue was amongst the world's dozen tallest as of mid-2020.

As the Covid-19 pandemic raged through the world in 2020, ordinarily crowded places were closed for months at a time.  This presented an opportunity for skilled first person view (FPV) drone pilots to fly over and film landmarks which would ordinarily be off-limits to drones.  Case and point is this excellent piece by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot osama_fpv.  He used his FPV mini-quad to film a mosque in Muscat, capital of the Middle Eastern nation of Oman.  His video was picked for a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July, 2020.

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot EvuaFPV created this amazing FPV video fo a famous monastery in southern Israel.  The Mar Saba is a Greek Orthodoz monastery overlooking the Kidron Valley, about halfway between Jerusalem (to the north) and the Dead Sea (to the south).  Founded in 483, it's one of the oldest Christian monasteries in existence.  For filming this important landmark with his racing drone, EvyaFPV earned himself a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2020.

Morandini earned himself a spot on the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in September, 2020 with this fantastic FPV piece from one of the most famous landmarks in Spain: the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey.  Situated on the slopes of Montserrat, the great mountain range just outside of Barcelona, the monastery was originally founded in the 11th century.  The abbey is home of the Virgin of Montserrat, one of the most important icons in Christianity.

Get a unique perspective of an important ancient ruins site in southern Italy in this fantastic first person view (FPV) video by AirVuz contributor claudiozang.  The town of Velia is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea in Salerno, the southernmost province of the Campania region.  Founded in the 6th century BC, Velia was an important city in the historical region of Magna Graecia - the name given by the Romans to the coastal areas of southern Italy which had been colonized by Greeks.  The town is featured in Book 6 of Virgil's Aeneid.

Prepare to be amazed by this incredible first person view (FPV) drone video of two temple complex in Northern India, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Prohdigyy.  Using a "cinewhoop" style micro-drone, he was able to film both a Hindu and a Sikh temple in the state of Punjab, which has a long border with Pakistan.  With a population that is roughly 60% Sikh, Punjab is home to over three-quarters of the worldwide followers of this religion, which combines elements of both Hinduism and Islam.

Among the wonders of New York City's gigantic Hudson Yards project is the Edge observation deck.  Located on the 100th floor of the tallest building in the complex, it stands 345 meters (a bit over 1.1k ft.) over street level on Manhattan's West Side - the tallest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere.  Definitely up there, but not too high for first person view (FPV) pilot and AirVuz contributor BrooklynMarkFPV, who tackled the Edge with a spectacular FPV dive with his racing quad, truly one for the ages.
