While the Amazon River Basin is generally associated with Brazil, the great waterway and its many tributary rivers actually covers part of five other South American nations: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It's a massive area, covering about 2/5 of the land area of South America. It's also one of the most important sources of freshwater in the world, as well as its largest rainforest, which is under constant pressure due to population growth. Here are the best drone videos from this magical land known as Amazonia. Aerial photo: “The Amazonian” by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Scientik.
