Drone Videos of Las Vegas

Former DVOW Finalist thedronalist brings us this excellent drone video from the fabled Strip of Las Vegas, Nevada.  The video opens with a shot looking west towards the Venetian and Harrah's casinos from the perspective of the Mirage, which sits on the opposite side of Las Vegas Boulevard.  Next up is a shot looking south towards the Flamingo (whose construction in 1946 marked the birth of the strip) and opposite the ultra-luxurious Bellagio.  Other featured locations include the Nevada High Roller Ferris Wheel, Treasure Island and more.   

AirVuz contributor Drone Las Vegas put together this outstanding professional drone reel showing a wide variety of aerial videography work, mostly in the Southwestern USA state of Nevada.  The reel features footage of some of the most well-known sites in Las Vegas, namely the giant casinos on the stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard known as the Strip.  The reel also features footage from the surrounding desert as well as some incredible action shots involving the new extreme sport of "flyboarding".  

Held in early January, the Consumer Electronics Show is one of the largest trade shows in the Western Hemisphere.   With over 170k attendees in a typical year, there's only one city which can accomodate it: Las Vegas.  The fills up the giant Las Vegas Convention Center, as well as most of the 150k hotel rooms on the Las Vegas Strip (by far the world's largest hotel market).  At the 2018 CES event, top AirVuz contributor LA_Drones worked with the chipmaker Intel and produced this amazing piece from the fountains of the Bellagio Casino.  

In this drone video by AirVuz contributor Aces Up, you'll get an aerial tour of Las Vegas during one of the strangest time in the city's history: during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Spring of 2020.  With its local economy dominated by tourism and convention business, America's gambling saw profound dislocation when social distancing measures forced the citiy's casinos and other public spaces to shut down.  With no tourists and hundreds of thousands of gaming and hospitality workers laid off, the city took on the look of a ghost town.  

Las Vegas, Nevada is the gambling capital of North America.  Born out of the construction phase of nearby Hoover Dam in the 1930's, the city is known for its casinos that are filled with gambling, shopping, fine dining and entertainment. Just outside of the city limits lies the Mojave Desert, the driest desert in North America. In this drone video by contributor Octavio Velazquez Lozano, you'll be treated to aerial views of one of America's most iconic sites: the Las Vegas Strip.  It's the name for a 6.8 km (4.2 mi.) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard south of the city itself in Clark County, Nevada.  The video features footage of some of the Strip's most well-known casino properties, including (in order of first appearance): New York, New York; Paris; Mandalay Bay; the MGM Grand; the Excalibur; the Bellagio; the Luxor; and more.

In this episode of Ryan's ridiculous, Ryan heads to the Las Vegas Strip for a bungee jump off of the tower of the The Strat Hotel, Casino and SkyPod, formerly known as the Stratosphere.  The USA's tallest freestanding observation tower, the Strat opened in 1996.  In 2010, new owners opened the SkyJump attraction, which lets riders bungee dive from the top of the 350 meter (1.15k ft.) tower on the northern end of the Strip.  Note that the drone filming in this piece was undertaken with the full consent of the property owner.  

For 20 years, one of the hottest of hot spots on the Las Vegas Strip isn't actually on the strip: it's the Ghostbar atop the Palms Casino Resort, which lies to the west of Las Vegas Boulevard.  In this episode of Droned, Dani and her crew head to the 55th floor bar, which may not be on the strip but offers some of the most amazing views of the fabled three mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard south of the city of Las Vegas.  This being Droned, you can take in this scene via a quad-mounted camera.
