New AirVuz contributor Christopher Mansfeldt used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this stunning aerial tour of Oslo, Norway.   The video includes excellent footage from some of the top sights of the Norwegian capital city, which sits at the head of the Oslofjord.  Some of the featured locations include the magnificent Oslo Opera House, one of the finest performance venues in Scandinavia; the Aker Brygge, neighborhood in the Sentrum District; the Oslo Holmenkollen Ski Jump; and more.

At the end of the Oslofjord, in the southeastern part of Norway, lies its capital city Oslo.  The city was believed to be founded by Vikings in the 11th century.  The center of a metropolitan area of about 1.6 million inhabitats, it's the third-largest city in Scandinavia after Stockholm and Copenhagen.  Contributor Anders Edholm flew a DJI Mavic Pro drone over this remarkable city on one of the great fjords of Norway.  Oslo hosted the 1952 Winter Olympics, the first Winter Games to be held since before World War II.

Get a bird's eye view of the modern downtown district of Oslo, Norway in this excellent piece by new AirVuz contributor Ewan-Armas.  It's known as Sentrum, and it's the old harbor area on the inner Oslofjord.  The video was shot with the drone moving from east to west, beginning with the Oslo Opera House, the award-winning architectural masterpiece which opened in 2007.  Moving west, you'll pass over the area of Akershus Fortress, and end up over another masterpiece of design: the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art.

Check out this drone video of one of the most exclusive districts of Oslo, Norway, compliments of AirVuz contributor Evan-Armas.  Frogner is a borough in the western part of Norway's capital city.  Lying immediately to the west of the Sentrum district, Frogner's real estate prices are the highest in the country.  Originally part of a single manor, Frogner became part of the City of Oslo in 1878.  In addition to its exclusive residential neighborhoods, it's home to a number of museums as well as many foreign embassies.

Located in Norway's capital city Oslo, the Vigeland sculpture park is dedicated to the cycle of life. Each of the over 200 statues in Vigeland park is a moment frozen in time.  The sculpture park is part of Frogner Park, which is situated in the western part of the city.  It is one of the top tourist destinations in Norway's capital, the third-largest of the Scandinavian cities.  Contributor Mohri Films used a drone to create a memorable aerial perspective of the sculptures which populate this impressive Scandinavian park.

Oslofjord Convention Center -Norway /Drone footage in 4k

Check out this drone video of a well-known convention center in southern Norway, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Adventure in Norway. The Oslofjord Convention center is located in Stokke, in Vestfold County,  It's located on the western side of the Oslofjord, the giant inlet at which the Norwegian capital city Oslo sits at the head.  Initially constructed in the 1950's, the facility underwent a major renovation which was completed in 2004.  It can accommodate as many as 8,000 people.

Check out these aerial views of the eastern part of Oslo, Norway, compliments of AirVuz contributor and drone pilot kaosolsen.  The Norwegian capital city, Scandinavia's third-largest, sits at the head of the Oslofjord (which is technically a bay not a fjord).  The area covered in the video is known as the Grorud Valley, which is the eastern part of its city.  Once considered somewhat remote from central Oslo, the area has grown significantly and is now home to about 25% of the city's population of about 675,000 as of 2019.

New AirVuz contributor Chris Mansfeldt brings us this excellent drone video of a well known lighthouse near Oslo, Norway.  The Dyna Lighthouse sits on its own tiny island in the Oslofjord, the giant inlet of the north sea at the head of which sits the Norwegian capital.  The lighthouse is a navigational aid to the western approaches to the Oslo harbor area.  The landmark was completed in 1876 but has been automated for decades.  Standing almost 13 meters tall (around 41 ft.) it has a range of about 9 nautical miles.

In this drone video by azzurro1, you'll get some great aerial views of Norway's storied Vestfold County.  Vestfold lies on the western side of the Oslofjord, the fjord which has the capital city of Oslo at its head.  Over time its towns (which include Norway's oldest city, Tønsberg), have essentially become the southwestern suburbs of Oslo.  Despite being part of the third-largest metropolitan area of Scandinavia, the towns of Vestfold have retained much of their original rustic charm.

Check out this stunning drone video of the Norwegian city of Drammen, compliments of AirVuz contributor Adventure in Norway.  The city is located near the mouth of the Drammenselva River, which ultimately empties into the Oslofjord.  It consistently ranks amongst Norway's best cities in various quality of life indexes.  Situated about 45 km (a bit under 30 mi.) southwest of Oslo, Drammen has evolved over the years from an independent city to an outlying suburb of the Norwegian capital city.

"green belt" of outdoor recreational areas that surround the Norwegian capital.  These easily accessible lakes, forests, parks, campgrounds, and hiking trails are heavily used by the 1 million+ residents of metropolitan Oslo.  In this video, top AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Mohri Films gives us a bird's eye view of Lake Sognsvann, a small but beautiful lake which is situated just north of the city.

Contributor HaimanAskari used a drone to give us this amazing bird's eye view of Drammen, a small city in southeastern Norway.  It is situated about 40 km (25 mi) southwest of the capital city of Oslo, and is considered part of the Greater Oslo metropolitan area.  It's a port city, at the mouth of the Drammenselva River as it flows into the Dramnmensfjorden which then flows into the Oslofjorden.  The video beautifully captures the heart of the city on the river, just as the sun is beginning to set.
