The Indian Ocean island archipelago nation of the Seychelles has a population of only about 100k, making it the smallest country in Africa on that measure.  What it lacks in size though it more than compensates with stunning beauty, which is spread across over 100 islands east of the large African island of Madagascar.  As contributor Paul Vlad shows in this aerial video he created with a DJI Mavic Pro drone, this is a paradise which compares favorably with any tropical area anywhere in the world.

The Islands

Christian ...

The Seychelles Islands in the Indian Ocean were uninhabited until they were spotted by Portuguese explorers traveling to India in the 1500's.  Later, the islands drew the interest of pirates who preyed on shipping in the area.  Now, they are a paradise vacation, offering white sand beaches and tropical forests.  In this amazing drone video, top contributor and pilot Christian Cuvelier does a great job of capturing the beauty of these islands, which number over 100 and many of which are uninhabited.
