Iguazu Falls from the Air

Iguazu Falls is the largest waterfall system in the world.  It is situated on the Iguazu River in South America, on the border between Brazil and Argentina.   It's not a single falls but rather a complex cataract system comprising 275 drops, with a total height of 82 meters (269 ft.).  In this video by JustinPoore, you will be treated to an aerial tour of this magnificent waterfall system, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, compliments of AirVuz contributor Justin Poore and his DJI Mavic Pro drone.

Exploring the Galapagos in 4k

Top content creator and drone pilot Msmember took a combination of ground cameras and a DJI Mavic Pro drone to San Cristobal Island, the easternmost of the Gallapagos Islands.  The result is a stunning look at the wildlife and landscape of this amazing island archipelago, which is a territory of Ecuador located in the Pacific Ocean.  The Gallapagos ecosystem was made famous by English scientist Charles Darwin, who visited them as part of an expeditionary survey by the HMS Beagle from 1831-36.

Sicily's Mount Etna in 4k

Using a DJI Mavic Pro drone, contributor Chris Berg created this stunning aerial video of Italy's Mt. Etna, one of the world's most well known active volcanoes.  Situated on the giant island of Sicily, the mountain stands about 3.3k meters (around 10.9k ft.) above sea level.  The mountain is in a near-constant state of eruption and is considered quite dangerous.  Famously, Mt. Etna "played the role" of Planet Mustafar in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), the last of the "prequel" trilogy.

Le Morne is a peninsula on the island of Mauritius, which sits to the east of Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean.  With its lush rainforests and rich wildlife, the area has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage natural site.  In this aerial video, drone pilot Christian Cuvelier shows some amazing filming skills, particularly with respect to capturing moving targets such as windsurfers, catamarans, and speedboats.  Independent since 1962, Mauritius is a former colony of various European countries.

The west coast of the African nation Namibia is covered by the Namib Desert, which runs the length of the country's Atlantic coast. In this video, contributor and pilot Elevated Perspectives International gives us a bird's eye view of the mighty desert and includes footage of Sossusvlei, Cape Cross and Spitzkoppe.  The desert, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, was the primary shooting location for the movie Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), the fourth installment of the series.

Victoria Falls

Top contributor Fabio Knoll created this masterpiece of a drone video of the mighty Victoria Falls in southern Africa.  These Falls lie on the Zambezi River, Africa's fourth longest, more or less at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.  It has a total drop of 108 meters (355 ft.) and is an incredible 1.7k meters (5.6k ft.) wide, making it the largest waterfall in the world in terms of the area of its water curtain.  This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the top tourist attractions in southern Africa.

Old Harry Rocks in Winter 4K

Old Harry Rocks sit off the Isle of Purbeck (technically a peninsula) in County Dorset, England.  These giant chalk stones are one of the key sites along the Jurassic Coast, a 150 km (95 mi) stretch along England's South Coast which has been designated by UNESCO World Heritage site due to its unique geological features.  Contributor Alta Vista Epic Aerials flew a drone over Old Harry Rocks and created this stunning bird's eye view of this natural wonder, one of the most well known natural sights in the United Kingdom.

Lake Muratovo PIRIN Mountain Bulgaria

In the southwest corner of Bulgaria there is a mountain range called the Pirin Mountains, part of the Rila-Radhope range which covers much of the western part of the country.  The range is dotted with over a hundred small, shallow glacial lakes, most of which are only a few meters deep.  The northern part of the range is part of Pirin National Park, an area which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  In this stunning video, a drone pilot flew over several of these glacial mountain lakes.

The Komodo islands are home to the world’s largest species of lizard, the Komodo dragon. Content creator and pilot Big Head Greg flew a DJI Phantom 4 drone over the islands' national park (which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage natural site) to capture its lush green landscape. This jaw dropping aerial video is the result of his efforts.  Prepare to be amazed by the bird's eye view of these amazing islands which lie in the middle of the archipelago, in the province of East Nusa Tenggara.

Ilulissat Icefjord - GREENLAND | 4K Drone Footage

AirVuz content creator and pilot Rasmus H-P used a DJI Phantom 4 drone to create this stunning video of Ilulissat Icefjord on the west coast of Greenland.  The fjord is created by Jakobshavn Glacier, one of the largest on this massive North Atlantic island.  The glacier, which is the most productive in the Western Hemisphere, annually produces 35 billion tons of icebergs which float out through Ilulissat.  Both of the fjord and the glacier have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains National Park, NSW

Top contributor and drone pilot Luke Nathan brings us this epic bird's eye view of Wentworth Falls in the heart of Australia's Blue Mountains.  The waterfall is one of the main attractions in this mountain range in the southeastern state of New South Wales, much of which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage natural site.  Wentworth Falls is a three tier waterfall with a total height of 187 meters (614 ft.).  It's situated within a national park by the same name located just a short drive west of Sydney.

The Dolomites in 5K: Aerial Cinematic Video

Contributor Dronescapes by Atellani created this stunning aerial video of the Dolomite Mountains.  Situated in northeastern Italy, this range is part of the eastern Alps, which have somewhat lower altitudes (but frequently greater prominence) than the western Alps.  While the highest peaks in the Dolomites are a modest 3-3.3k meters (just under 11k ft) they more than make up for their modest altitude by their spectacular limestone rock formations.  Most of the range has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage natural site.

Ha Long Bay is in northeast Vietnam, on the South China Sea. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands that are topped by rainforests. Its name roughly translates to  “descending dragon,” the area is extremely popular among tourists and is home to 14 endemic floral species and 60 endemic faunal species. Accomplished AirVuz contributor and pilot hamzamuj checked out the incredible area with his DJI Mavic 2 Pro and created this stunning, 4K aerial piece.

A coastal town in western Greenland, Ilulissat is an Arctic gem. Its pink sunrises and sunsets, clean white glaciers, and Northern Lights, seen in this drone video by fpl1966, make it something to remember. In fact, the town's name translates to "iceberg" in Kalaallisut - Greenland's native language. The Ilulissat Iceberg, the most popular iceberg in the area, was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.  It's located about 350 km (around 220 mi.) north of the Arctic Circle.

Top content creator and drone pilot Chris Borg created this beautiful aerial video of Italy's Aeolian Islands using a DJI Mavic Pro drone.  These eight islands are situated immediately to the north of Sicily in the Tyrrhenian Sea, a subdivision of the Mediterranean Sea which is bounded by Sicily, Corsica, Sardinia, and the Italian mainland.  Due to their unique volcanic origins and landscapes, these islands have collectively been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage natural site.
