Vatnajökull is the largest glacier in Iceland and one of the largest in Europe.  Within its massive area of 8.1k square km (3k square mi) lie many caves resulting from melting patterns within the icecap.  Contributor Snorrithor flew his DJI Phantom 3 drone into one of these caves.  Combined with some amazing editing, he created a one of a kind "aerial" of this gigantic cavern within the icecap of southern Iceland.  The glacier is the land "Beyond the Wall" in Westeros in HBO's Game of Thrones.

Iceland's largest city and capital is Reykjavik, which lies in the southwestern part of the island.  It is a new city by European standards, founded in 1786.  The city is full of Scandinavian charm, and is also known as as a starting point for drives around Iceland's Ring Road.  Contributor BreathofIceland, one of Iceland's top drone pilots, used a DJI Mavic Air drone to create this amazing aerial tour of Iceland's capital city.

Iceland - Travel Film

Contributor and drone pilot th3venture spent six days in iceland.   Using a drone with some added ground footage he created a beautiful travel Vlog.   The video follows him in his travels along the Golden Circle road in the southern part of the country.  Highlights include aerial footage of the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, the  Sólheimasandur plane fuselage, Geysir Hot Springs, Skogafoss waterfall, and other sights of the region.

Volare Video created this epic drone video of the Sólheimajökull glacier in southern Iceland.  The glacier is situated between two volcanoes and it's part of a larger structure called the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap.  The Mýrdalsjökull glacier was a primary filming location for HBO's blockbuster TV series Game of Thrones, as the landscape provided the authentic snow and vertical relief they were seeking starting in Season 2.  It stood in as the 'Fist of the First Men' and is where Jon Snow's raiding party first ventured "beyond the wall."
