Part of the Ring of Fire, Kanlaon is one of the most active volcano in the Philippines, with 30 eruptions in the last 200 years. It sits on the island of Negros.  From the waterfalls at the base, to the Margaja Valley caldera and rocky Lugud crater, the Canlaon volcano brings new meaning to the saying, "beautiful but deadly."  Contributor NAVA flew over the top of this marvel, creating one of the most-viewed drone videos on AirVuz.

The Makati district of Manila in the Philippines is the capital city's primary financial district.  It is perhaps the most visible sign of the growth of Manila in recent decades, and glass skyscrapers of the most modern design abound.  In this video, contributor JC Gellidon used a Phantom DJI Phantom 4 drone to create an aerial video of this area on New Years Eve 2018, capturing the amazing effect of fireworks against the outline-lit skyscrapers.

Palawan in the Philippines is both an island and a province.  The province includes several other islands, the most notable of which sit to the north of Palawan Island.  The region of Coron covers much of this northern island area, including the island of Coron itself.  In this video, contributor URL_Eleven uses a drone to give us a bird's eye view of this island paradise, which includes hundreds of small uninhabited islets.

Sisiman is a small coastal village at the tip of the Bataan Peninsula on the island of Luzon in the Phillipines.  Although it sits just across Manila Bay from the great capital city, it features a beautiful rural landscape.  Contributor Carlos Caacbay's drone video captures this magnificent looking place, in a region which has some notoriety as the scene of the Bataan Death March in World War II, which is memorialized with a nearby monument.

Bohol, Philippines

Bohol is a medium sized island in the south central portion of the Philippines, sitting between the somewhat larger islands of Cebu to its west and Leyte to its east.  With its distinctive Chocolate Mountains, it has caught the attention of drone pilots such as contributor Jermeister Deap who created this beautiful aerial video of the island, the 10th largest amongst the thousands that make up the archipelago, and one of the largest of the Visayan Islands of the central Philippines.

Bicol is the southern region of Luzon, the largest island of the Philippines.  The Bicol region also includes several large islands, such as Masbate and Burias, and many smaller ones.  Much less populated than central Luzon, Bicol is perhaps best known as the home of Mayon, an active volcano with a perfectly symmetrical conical shape.  Contributor Crlo Caacbay created this epic drone video of the region, home to some of the most stunning scenery in Luzon.

The official region of Luzon in the Philippines includes not only the huge island itself but many islands surrounding it.  The Batanes are a group of islands lying well north of Luzon Island.  These sparsely occupied islands are home to stunning cliffs and magnificent views of the South China Sea.  Contributor JC Gellidon used a DJI Phantom 4 drone to create this spectacular view of these islands, which constitute the northernmost territory of the country.
