Contributor DomiSchleu's epic roadtrip through Spain allowed him to create this amazing aerial tour of many of these regions.  The video includes amazing aerial footage of Andalusia, Sevile, Murcia, Valencia, and Catalonia.  At the 1:38 mark, you'll see the bullring of Osuna, in Sevile.  This bullring, no longer used as such, was the filming location for a key fight scene (involving dragons, not bulls) in HBO's Game of Thrones, Season 5, Episode 9.

Spain's wealthiest region, the semi-autonomous region of Catalonia, is home to some of Spain's greatest cultural treasures and some of its most breathtaking natural scenery.  Oliver Astrologo created this stunning four minute visual tour of Catalonia, including footage of lesser known spots such as Girona, which was featured extensively in Season 6 of HBO's Game of Thrones TV series.  This video was a finalist for the AirVuz Drone Video of the Week Contest.

Andalusia is a historical and official region of Spain, its  southernmost.  Andalusia was the center of Muslim (Berber) rule in Spain, which began in the 8th century and didn't fully end until the end of the 15th.  Contributor Hamza_Mujtaba created this epic aerial tour of the region with a drone, which includes aerial footage of Malaga, Almogia, Granada and Cordoba.  Andalusia has been used extensively as a filming location for HBO's Game of Thrones, notably in Seville and Cordoba.

Gorobel is the Basque word for 'Sierra de Sálvada', a mountain that marks the natural limit between the Basque Country in northwestern Spain and the neighboring region of Castille. Its steep slopes in the north frequently produce the Föhn effect, by which the humid air that rises from the valley condenses, forming clouds and rains.  Contributor Toniobodon used a drone to create a stunning aerial view of this magnificent mountain.

Rescuebcn created a this breathtaking drone video of Montferri and Tarragona, two of the most popular spots in southern Catalonia, the region which occupies northeastern Spain.  The former, which lies a bit inland from the Mediterranean, is home to the sanctuary of Mare de Déu de Montserrat, one of Spain's most important cultural treasures.  The latter is an ancient port city, the second largest urban area in Catalonia after Barcelona.

Contributor Toniobodon created this stunning drone video of a hike to the top of Anboto, the highest peak of the Urkiola Mountains in the Basque Country of northwestern Spain.  The mountain stands just over 1.3k meters (about 4.4k ft) above sea level, and the Urkiola Mountains form the drainage divide between the Mediterranean and Atlantic Basins of Europe.  In recognition of its natural beauty as well as its importance to Basque culture, the mountain is now a national park.

Almeria is one of the provinces of Spain's Andalusia region in the southern part of the country.  Its inland territory is extremely dry and mountainous, which has made it an attractive filming location, beginning with the 1966 classic The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly starring Client Eastwood.  Contributor Sartanafc created this epic drone video of the region, which was also the home of the Dathraki horsemen in Seasons 5 and 6 of HBO's Game of Thrones TV series.

The City perched on a cliff - Ronda, Spain

Contributor 91 Kilometers brings us this beautiful aerial video of the city of Ronda in southern Spain, in the Málaga province of Andalusia.  Like much of southern Spain, this area has been inhabited since pre-historic times.  Ronda also has a place in literature.  The city on the cliff (in disguised form) was the setting for one of the most well known passages of 20th century literature: the famous execution scene in Chapter 10 of Ernest Hemingway's classic For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Spain's province La Mancha, which is part of the Castilla-La Mancha semi-autonomous region of central Spain, has a storied history.  The province is essentially a large plain south of Madrid.  Famously, it was the setting for the epic novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes, one of the great works of Western literature.  In this video, contributor Eminorcks gives us an amazing aerial tour of the area which gave birth to the expression "tilting at windmills."
