"Parkour: a training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. Practitioners aim to get from one point to another in a complex environment without assistive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible." The definition of parkour is so similar to what defines FPV drone flying it only makes sense that an accomplished drone pilot like SFPV would combine the two in this video. Appreciate the similarities and see why this video earned SFPV a Pilots to Watch nod.

The longboard is similar to the skateboard, but longer and faster due to its wheel size, construction materials, and hardware. Longboard dancing is a style of riding, where the rider moves with the board in a fluid, artistic fashion. Professional longboarder and founder of the international longboard movement, DockSession, Lotfi Lamaali is a legend in the sport. Drone pilot Fincky took our a cinewhoop to shoot the athlete and man, oh man does it make for one killer, cinematic video.

Talk about cinematic FPV. Whofpv got the rare opportunity to fly through an empty NASCAR garage. There he was able to float through, around, under and over nearly a dozen of the high-powered vehicles with impressive precision and flow. Watch this behind-the-scenes video and you’ll catch glimpses of engines, frames, and many partially finished stock cars just waiting to fire up and get on the race track.

オンナノコズ:"Onnanocos" × Micro Drone

We guarantee you've never seen micro drone footage quite like this!  FPV pilot extraordinaire, KatsuFPV, teamed up with Japanese model group "Onnanocos" to create this brilliant drone video.  Staged in a Japanese high school, he flew a 1.6" drone equipped with a RunCam Split Mini FPV camera through narrow gaps and around the school girls.  The result is a creative, beautiful, and smoothly orchestrated flight. This video was a Winner in our Drone Video Awards' Micro Drone Angle Mode category.

Cine whoop ( Micro drone fpv ) - Like a Bird

The sakura, or cherry blossoms, of Japan are legendary. The ancient trees bloom in late March and early April all across the island country. Many people travel to the country to see the brights whites, reds, and pinks pop in the trees. This FPV video is one of our favorites that features the sakura. Our pilot takes his micro drone through the branches so we can see the beautiful flowers up close.

Who knew there was a place with over 15,000 gallons of water in their showroom that also happens to be filled with fish? Whofpv did so he flew it, naturally. The shop has been around for over 30 years, but we bet no one in their history had ever asked them if they could fly a micro drone through their shop. The flight is unique enough to land Whofpv on our AirVuz Pilots to Watch list for April 2019.

The port city of Marseille in southern France is known for many things like its beautiful beaches, large fishing port, and beautiful architecture. The local gaming bar is not one of them, however it is exactly where teammestral flew to create this entertaining cinewhoop video. He’ll fly his micro quad through the destination going behind the bar, between guests, and (of course) along the endless rows of games creating a bit of excitement like only a micro FPV drone can.

Flying his custom built, microquad based on a Runcam Micro Swift frame, this cinewhoop video by epic FPV pilot Sekile brings a new level to cinematic FPV.  Shot in a local park, the trippy quality to this edit nearly takes away from the technical flying abilities of the Drone Video Awards’ nominee. However, the mix of flight, music and edit is just right for a memorable cinewhoop video.

Did you know that the Easter Egg hunt has its roots in 15th century Christianity? The egg has been a symbol of life and rebirth for thousands of years, but it came to represent Jesus' resurection, or rebirth, around that time. The tradition holds strong even now with children around the world hunting for those brightly-colored eggs on Easter morning. Micro drone pilot Whofpv did what he does best and grabbed his quad to take some cinematic shots of his family as they participated in the time-honored tradition.

Floating Along the Riverbanks

Cinewhoopin by the Colorado River

The Shendrones Squirt is a favorite among FPV pilots for its size, portability, and camera carrying abilities. You can see it in action in this cinewhoop video by WestPsydeFPV as he navigates the trees along the river banks in spring. In the beginning of the season, it’s not the prettiest time of the year. However, the barren trees make for some really nice proximity flying or, in the case of some pilots, tree climbing. This video made WestPysdeFPV an FPV Pilot to Watch in March of 2019.

Gliding Through the Garden

Cinewhooping is when a pilot uses their technical abilities to fly a micro drone in a cinematic fashion. That's at least the the definition, the actual process is way cooler than that as Tiago.Guano shows as he flies his whoop through the Budha Eden Garden in Portugal. This specific garden isn't just any regular garden, it has its own Terracota army that surrounds a lake on a hill in a winery. It's a crazy cool location and a darn good example of cinewhoop.
