2020 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 22

Panvelet is one of the top contributors in the AirVuz community; his video of Shanghai called "24 Hours" won the "Originality" category at the second annual Drone Video Awards, and he's since been picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist multiple times.  All good reasons to check out the stunning drone reel uploaded by this very talented creator.  Expertly edited, the video features a mix of shots from various countries around the world, ranging from the skyscrapers of Hong Kong, and Los Angeles to a partially-submerged submarine.  

With four of their first five uploads to AirVuz earning a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot, pushkinflyteam is one of the top contributors in the AirVuz community.  That's why this demo reel from these talented pilots is a must-watch.  The video features an astounding mix of landscape, urban, action, and "people" shots from across Russia, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, and Thailand.  From the stunning valleys of the Caucasus Mountains to  giant concerts and Indonesian waterfalls, there's something for everyone in this fantastic production.

Drone Video of the Week Finalist rememorales created this beautiful 60 second aerial reel from his travels around the world.  Shot with a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone, the video captures "moody" scenes of beauty around the world, beginning with an opening shot descending through the clouds to reveal a mountain road.  The footage was captured on the West Coast of the United States (San Diego, California plus Oregon and Washington), the Indonesian province of Bali, and the Thai capital city of Bangkok.  

Top AirVūz contributor and drone pilot iskenderfilm used his DJI Inspire 2 drone mounted with a Zenmuse X7 camera to create this stunning masterpiece of the Istanbul's historic peninsula, the area between the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara on the western (European) side of the Bosphorus.  We are treated to some of Istanbul's most iconic sights such as Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower, Sultan Ahmed Mosque, and the Bosphorus Strait.  This video was selected as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in June of 2020. 

Talented AitVuz contributor daniel.nunes used a DJI Spark drone to create this spectacular aerial tour of the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, the second-most populous of the Canary Islands off the coast of North Africa.  This DVOW nominated video features footage from both the coastal areas as well as the interior of Gran Canaria; check out the incredible views of the Maspalomas Dunes area near the southern tip of the island, the Church of San Juan Bautista in Arucas (near the northern end of the island), the southwestern beach of Playa Puerto Rico, and more.

Every week, our team reviews every video uploaded to the site to pick the Top 5 videos.  Then, we name our favorite as our Drone Video of the Week and send that drone pilot $250.  (The winning video is also then a contender for Drone Video of the Month.)
