2020 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 45

Check out this drone video from the heart of German-speaking Switzerland, compliments of top AirVuz contributor and pilot Dronescapes by Atellani.  The video was filmed around a trio of spots near Lake Interlaken in the cantons of Bern and Oberwalden: Hasliberg, Meiringen and Engstlenalp.   The video from the former Drone Video of the Week Finalist features footage of mountain passes such as the Susten Pass, Furka Pass, Neufen Pass and Grimsel Pass, as well as mountains such as the Eiger and the Mittelhorn.   

Check out this stunning drone video compilation from northern Italy, compliments of former Drone Video Award Winner videobros.  This DVOW nominated video features footage from the following locations: Lake Maggiore, Italy's second-largest lake; the city of Verona, the second-largest city of the Veneto region after Venice;  Lake Carezza, a small alpine lake in South Tyrol; Mt. Seceda in the Dolomite Mountains;  the Gardena and Sella Passes; the Dolomite masif known as Tre Cime di Laverado; and Lake Sorapis, also in the Dolomite Mountains.  

Top contributor semberadventure brings us this DVOW nominated video from Antigua, the main island of the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda.  The video was shot over English Harbor, a natural harbor which lies on the south side of the island.  The harbor's name derives from the longstanding presence here of the Royal Navy beginning in the 17th century, well-preserved relics of which you'll see in the video.   While the navy ships are long gone, English Harbor has continued its maritime traditions with its active recreational boating scene.  

Take an aerial tour of Spain with a DJI Mavic Air drone in this DVOW nominated video by AirVuz contributor and pilot ViDeo Creator jP.  The video opens with an epic shot of the Plaza de España in the great Andalusian (southern) city of Seville.  Next up is the hilltop fortress Alcázar of Toledo, followed by the famous windmills of Consuegra.  Other featured locations include the Puente Nuevo bridge in the great southern city of Ronda, the "white city" of Zahara de la Sierra in the province of Cádiz, the Toledo Cathedral, and more.  

Drone pilot and contributor Gravity Williams created this stunning aerial film from the North Atlantic island nation of Iceland.  Shot with a DJI Mavic Air, the video features footage of the following locations: Þingvallavatn; Blue Lake; the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon; Stuðlagil Canyon; Eyjafjallajökull Glacier; Reynisfjara Beach; Seljalandsfoss and Hafragilsfoss Waterfalls; Kerid; Svartifoss, Dettifoss, and Sellfoss Watrfalls; Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon; Svínafellsjökull Glacier; and more. This video earned a DVOW nomination in November 2020.
