Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner FrameworkFilms brings us this stunning aerial footage of some blue whales off the coast of Southern California.  The graceful creatures can reach lengths of up to just under 100 ft. (about 30 m) and can weigh up to 400k pounds (about 180k kg), making them the largest animals to have ever lived on Earth.  They generally spend their summer months near the poles and their winter months in the tropics; sightings such as what you'll see in the video usually occur during migration periods.

The Autumnal Song of Hunza, Pakistan


Talented contributor maxloxton brings us this stunning Fall drone video from the Hunza Valley in Pakistan.  Located in the northern part of Gilgit-Baltistan, the country's northernmost territory, the Hunza Valley is one of the country's great national treasures.  Largely rural, the territory's people represent a distinct ethnic group whose culture has been heavily influenced by those of the neighboring parts of Afghanistan and China.  The valley is surrounded by mountains with peaks of up to 25k ft. above sea level or almost 8k m.

Prepare to be amazed by this stunning drone video of Hong Kong's Victoria Harbor, compliments of former DVOW Winner Tiborianer.  Victoria Harbor is the body of water which separates Hong Kong Island from the Kowloon Peninsula, which is part of the mainland of Asia.  One of the world's finest natural harbors, it's the primary historical reason why Hong Kong rose to global prominence as a center for world trade beginning in the mid-19th century.  The video includes footage of the harbor itself as well as the urban environment around it.

Check out these stunning drone views of Denmark's Faroe Islands, compliments of brand-new AirVuz contributor and pilot adri77gm.  The Faroes are comprised of 18 major islands and many small ones (most of which are uninhabited) in the North Atlantic Ocean, roughly halfway between the western coast of Norway and Iceland.  The video features some excellent aerial footage from across the islands, including the Múlafossur Waterfall on the island of Vagar, which drops straight into the ocean from above.

Lencois de Maranhao


Talented AirVuz contibutor Damiano862 brings us this excellent drone video of Brazil's Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.  The park is situated in Maranhão, one of the nine states which make up the country's giant Northeast region.  Located just east of São José Bay, the park is best known for its rolling sand dunes.  It also covers around 70 km (about 43 mi.) of Atlantic Ocean coastline.  Covering about 1.5k square km (about 550 square mi.), it's becoming an increasingly popular eco-tourism destination.
