What’s better than a fun little micro-drone? A Micro Drone (including the popular Tiny Whoop) in Acro Mode! Like the speediest, most nimble little charmer, these tiny guys pack all the power they need into a robust frame and motor that’s capable of controlling its pitch and tilt to perform crowd-pleasing tricks like dives, flips, rolls, and more. But of course, they don’t do these incredible feats on their own; the FPV pilots - like these whose videos are nominated in this category - work the ‘sticks’ on their controllers ever so articulately to make these maneuvers count, and naturally the resulting footage is at once, both entertaining and impressive. Not taking itself too seriously, the acro-mode style is loved by both pilots and viewers, as the spirited videos are often captured in unusual and playful environments with plenty of tight spots through which to navigate! Our congratulations go out to nurkfpv, this year's Micro Drone Acro Mode winner!

Microdrones can be flown almost anywhere, and that's one of their biggest attractions. Virtually any location becomes a "gap party" for skilled FPV pilots. In this drone video, AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Trainer Tallman FPV shows off his skills in his favorite place to Whoop - the rafters of a pavilion. The video was taken straight from the goggles - no fancy editing here - shows just how good on the sticks this guy is. This video was a Finalist in the Micro Drone - Acro Mode category at the second annual Drone Video Awards.

In a micro flying piece that brings us around the backyard, through a playground, and around an aerial artist, shoeface has a video worth its Drone Video Awards Micro Drone Acro Mode nomination. This epic flight is accomplished thanks to alienwhoop zero and betafpv boards, plus 6mm and 7mm motors, mixed with some serious skill.

City Museum of St Louis, Missouri is a museum whose exhibits consist largely of repurposed architectural and industrial products. Museum founder Bob Cassilly's voice pops up throughout this mystical piece by top first person view (FPV) pilot nurkfpv who was given rare access to fly his micro drone through the legendary museum. It's a moving, inspiring one you won't want to miss. This video was chosen as the Winner in the Micro Drone Acro Mode category in the second annual Drone Video Awards.

It's a one take wonder! Shot over a single fight with a micro-sized HD first person view (FPV) drone, this piece by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Stan FPV shows off the amazing agility and impressive video capture quality from these tiny quads - in this case, a custom 3" quad carrying a GoPro Hero 7. Flying very quickly over and around an epic Christmas lights scene, this video was picked as a Finalist in the Micro Drone Acro Mode category at the second annual Drone Video Awards.

This miniature train town is a perfect playground for FPV pilot SFPV's micro drone and he takes it over with this super fun flight. He performs loops and whirls all over the teensy train tracks with his insane Whoop skills, nabbing him a spot in our 2nd Annual Drone Video Awards' Micro Drone Acro Mode and Tiny Whoop Acro Mode categories.
