Bird's Eye Views of Frankfurt

Top contributor haussmannvisuals brings us this fantastic drone video of the city of Frankfurt, Germany.  Some of the featured locations include the European Central Bank tower (first seen at the :09 mark), which sits a short distance east of the core downtown zone; the pointed-top Messeturm (the city's second-tallest skyscraper), first seen at :13; Commerzbank Tower, the city's (and Germany's) tallest skyscraper, seen at :33 from the top and in the foreground at :35; the Europaturm observation tower (1:20); and more.  

Prepared to be amazed by these stunning drone views of Frankfurt, Germany, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Winner haussmannvisuals.  Most of the video was shot over and around the city's Financial District, which is located on the right (northern) bank of the Main River and which is considered the most important financial hub on the European Mainland.  Including the nearby headquarters tower for the European Central Bank, it's home to all of Germany's ten tallest buildings (as of 2022) and 18 of its 20 tallest.  

DVA nominated contributor and drone pilot Haussmannvisuals does it again with this stunning DVOW Finalist drone video of Frankfurt, Germany.  Situated on the Main River in the west-central part of the country, Frankfurt is Germany's financial capital and Europe's #2 financial center after London.  The video does a phenomenal job of capturing the vertical architecture of this gleaming city, including the Europaturm TV Tower, Commerzbank Tower, and the European Central Bank headquarters building.

Contributor Haussmannvisuals put together this magnificent compilation of aerial footage of Frankfurt in western Germany.  The city was settled in Roman times, and became one of the most important free cities in the Holy Roman Empire.  Absorbed into Germany in the 1860's, it ceded financial leadership to Berlin, but regained it following Germany's reunification.  The video features impressive aerial footage of the central business district on the Main River as well as the upstream ECB headquarters.

Top AirVuz contributor haussmannvisuals earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this piece he created filming a training session of a high altitude rescue team working atop the Germany's tallest skyscraper in Frankfurt's financial district.  The 56 story Commerzbank Tower stands 850 ft. (259 m) above the city's streets; with its antenna spire (featured prominenty in the video) the height rises to 985 ft. (300 m).  When it was completed in 1997, it was the tallest building in all of Europe until 2003.
