We travel the world in this week’s list of FPV Pilots to Watch on AirVuz!
Croble FPV kicks off the week with a wet flight in Australia where they “finally” had some rain. Longtime AirVuz content creator ChileVuela was back as well, with a really great mountain surfing flight in Chile. Also, we got an INCREDIBLE flight over “Volcano Island” thanks to PRINT LAB FPV, and an AMAZING 2019 year of flying from Ewalt_FPV.
There are also new videos from smontlouis, George FPV, Hector.fpv, Banner_Drones, KrissKwadd and MEIRELES. Not only have these great pilots made this week’s Pilots to Watch, but they're also are now eligible for January’s FPV Video of the Month selected by Team AirVuz Pilot nurkfpv!
So, please show these pilots your support with a comment, like and follow!! When you’re done, check out more sweet footy in our FPV Freestyle Collections!

Finally Rain in NSW Australia | Dangars Falls | Croble FPV

Are you ready for this heartstopping dive down the Dangar Falls in New South Wales Australia? Talented drone pilot Croble FPV isn't holding back as he glides down the rushing waters of this waterfall. As the recent rains had been plentiful, the footage reflects the magnificent, charging display of free flowing water. However, the falls have been known to go 'bone dry' when the precipation hasn't been as favorable. Capturing this natural glory in its full on glory, he earned a spot on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in January of 2020.

One of the many charms of a cinewhoop flight is that a whole new, playful perspective is given to an otherwise ordinary place. In this fun video, FPV pilot Banner_Drones glides around the colorful graffiti donning the walls of both a local salon and a motel / apartment geared for artists who want to live like locals. With sunny skies and the cool Miami vibe, we feel like we belong cruising along those sidewalks and walkways too. Banner Drones was again an easy pick for our January 2020 FPV Pilots to Watch list.

Watch these boss moves from AirVuz contributor and first-person view (FPV) drone pilot George FPV in this FPV flight around a docked giant cargo ship and bridge in the port of Veneto, Italy. His FPV perspective gives us the chance to fully experience his quick work of these colossal objects by dancing high above the ship's masts and then skimming down the tower of the nearby suspension bridge. This gem of a vid again earned his spot on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in January 2020.
PRINT LAB FPV
Volcano Island | South of Japan | Cinematic Drone Footage

Japan's Volcano Island is foreboding for most visitors - considering the oppressive heat, humidity, and volcanic ashes - but this remote spot called out to drone pilot Print FPV for some freestyle action. The island is in stark contrast to the Tokyo metro, to which it is approximately 750 miles south. Aside from a few empty roads, there are few signs of life of the 650 odd residents, making it a perfect playground for FPV and creating a video that would place this talented pilot on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in January 2020.

The GoPro Hero 8 is something of a game-changer for first person view (FPV) pilots. With built-in stabilization, the new camera obviates the need for post-production image stabilization. Witness this spectacular piece from top AirVuz contributor and FPV Pilot to Watch in January 2020, ChileVuela. He mounted his GoPro 8 onto one of his racing quads and set out for a rock formation called the Devil's Fang (Quinquili) in Chile's Andes Mountains. It's situated in the southern Araucanía Region, not far from the border with Argentina.

Needing some motivation? Check out this creative and cinematic reel shared by Ewalt_FPV, showcasing his *truly* epic freestyling moments in his highly productive 2019. He's gone all-in by focusing full-time on covering the world's skies with his nimble, yet capable quad. From palm trees to evergreens, mountains to beaches, and landmarks and locals, he's packed the fruits of his 2019 adventures into a reel we love (with a shout out to @joel, who produced the edit), and for that, he's on our FPV Pilots to Watch list. Bravo, Ewalt_FPV!

Adrenaline, anyone? You'll be needing that, plus coordination, balance, and *dare we say* sheer zaniness (and perhaps extra kneepads?) to skate down these hills at those speeds. But if you'd rather just watch, FPV drone pilot MEIRELES has certainly got you covered. His racing quad keeps pace as these brave souls cruise down the open roads of Santa Catarina, Brazil, and since he's given us our new favorite 'chase scene,' we've put him on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in January 2020. Be sure to explore his whole profile on AirVuz!

Racing Drone vs. Dirt Bikes | Drone Eats Mud

The crispy clear views of these dirt bikes are courtesy of drone pilot KrissKwadd and his new GoPro Hero8 Black. Watch as his racing quad tracks the riders barrelling around the track and 'braaaping' their way into jumps and wheelies. His drone gets 'roosted' (dirt bike slang) with a little track mud around 1:59, but KrissKwadd takes it all in as part of the experience. His full throttle flying has earned him a spot on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in January 2020, so cruise over to his AirVuz profile and check out the rest of his work!

FPV pilot Smontlouis packed his quad on his trip to the breathtaking and inviting Seychelles, and we're pretty grateful. From the impressive yachts to the rugged yet lush shoreline, he treats us all to the most picturesque sites from this top travel destination. He even lets us hear the lapping waves at 2:00; at 3:17 we get to hold our breath has he flies through the narrowest of gaps in the rocky landscape. For all of this and more, he's on our FPV Pilot to Watch list again in January 2020.

Being able to stand on a frozen lake is one of winter's privileges, and FPV drone pilot Hector.fpv made the most of it from this very scenic perch, the frozen Lake El Passet in the Porté-Puymorens region in southern France. The fresh snow gave him a clean slate for launching his quad and capturing the fantastic views of the surrounding Regional Park of the Catalan Pyrenees. His take on the breathtaking winterscape caught our attention and secured his spot on our Pilots to Watch list in January 2020. Bravo, Hector.FPV!
