The Tiny Whoop first person view (FPV) drone phenomenon began with tiny Blade Inductrix quad by Horizon Hobby. Weighing less than an ounce and with ducted propellers, the little quad was soon modified by a group of enthusiasts led by Jesse Perkins, who figured out how to put a tiny camera and video transmitter on the small frame, turning it into an incredibly fun-to-fly FPV machine. Perkins' vision, which became known as the Tiny Whoop, led to the formation of a "movement" dedicated to these little FPV quads, which can safely be flown indoors and in close proximity to people. It's also led to some great videos, as pilots use the DVR's on their goggles to capture their Tiny Whoop flight footage. As you will see in this collection, Tiny Whoops turn even ordinary locations into fantastic aerial playgrounds! Aerial photo "The Life" by AirVuz contributor and Tiny Whoop pilot Green FPV.

That's where this story begins. Hear the story behind the Tiny Whoop craze from the company who created the first micro drone and the man who has become synonymous with Whoopin, Jesse Perkins.

This epic flight is accomplished thanks to alienwhoop zero and betafpv boards, plus 6mm and 7mm motors, mixed with some serious skill.

Have you ever seen a flight through the corn fields? No, not over the corn fields, literally through the rows upon rows of tall, green and yellow vegetables. We hadn’t either until Nick Lang brought us out to the farm with his Tiny Whoop Nano drone, one of the smallest semi-pro drones on the market. It’s great for first-timers, but also great for folks like Nick who are accomplished pilots that want to try out new angles.

We've seen fantastic FPV flights with pilots capturing extreme sports, most of which have been filmed with standard-sized quads. This one does so, but with the tiniest FPV quad of them all, the Tiny Whoop. Zipping around wakeboarders, through the crowd of on-lookers, and dancing around an inflatable water park this 2nd Annual Drone Video Awards Tiny Whoop Acro Mode Winner has it all.

The Cheyenne Regional Airport (CYS) is a civil-military airport about a mile north of downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming. The airport is unique in that parking at the airport is free, mainly due to its small size. FPV Evil_Munkey flew his Tiny Whoop through the empty airport with a group of friends, setting up light up gates in a space that might not look all that different. However, when you think about it, it’s pretty crazy they were allowed to fly their micro drones in the airport since drones usually aren’t allowed within five-miles of one!
