Iguazu Falls from the Air

Home to the largest waterfall system in the world, the Iguazu Falls borders Argentina, Brazil (the state of Piranha, in its Southern Region), and Paraguay. The Iguazu Falls have been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.  The region is home to 257 individual falls, each varying in size and height. In this video, you will be treated to an aerial tour of this magnificent waterfall system, compliments of AirVuz contributor Justin Poore and his DJI Mavic Pro drone.

Top contributor Fabio Knoll created this masterpiece of a drone video of the mighty Victoria Falls in southern Africa.  These Falls lie on the Zambezi River, more or less at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.  Twice the height of Niagara Falls in the USA, it's the largest waterfall in the world in terms of the area created by its height and width.  In addition to being one of the top tourist attractions in southern Africa, it is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Amazing Una river

Bosnia's Strbacki Buk waterfall lies on the Una River near the border with Croatia.  It is one of the most magnificent natural sites in Bosnia Herzegovina, one of the countries which emerged from the wreckage of Yugoslavia.  In this drone video, contributor  Emirdzanan gives us an incredible aerial view of the falls on the river which was given the Latin name for "Beauty" by the Romans who  discovered it in the Antiquity.

The Seven Sisters Waterfall

The Seven Sisters waterfalls is a natural phenomenon which has to be seen to be believed.  It is a system of seven related waterdalls on the northern side of Geirangerfjorden, Norway. The tallest of the falls has an enormous free fall of 250 meters (820 ft).  Contributor Aerial Norway created this epic aerial video of the falls, taken in early summer when the snow melting from the mountain peaks swell the flow over the falls.

The Secrets of Tequendama

Tequendama Falls is a waterfall on the Bogota River near Bogota, Colombia.  Standing roughly 130 meters (about 430 feet) tall, the falls is one of the largest in South America or indeed anywhere in the world.  Drone contributor La.drones, a Bogota native, flew his drone above these magnificent falls to create an aerial perspective, of the falls, which unfortunately have been chosen by many suicide victims.

Basaseachi Waterfall

Award winning contributor Postandfly created this epic drone video of one of the largest waterfalls in Mexico.  Basaseachic Falls is situated in the north central part of the country, in the state of Chihuahua.  It is formed by two separate rivers, the Arroyo del Durazno and the Arroyo de Basaseachic.  It's the second largest waterfall in the country, after Cascada de Piedra Volada, which is located in nearby Copper Canyon, also in the state of Chihuahua.

Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains National Park, NSW

Contributor Luke Nathan brings us this epic drone video of Wentworth Falls in the heart of Australia's Blue Mountains.  The watefall is one of the main attractions in this mountain range in the state of New South Wales, much of which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage natural site.  Wentworth Falls is a three tier waterfall within a national park by the same name located just a short drive west of Sydney, and is one of the biggest attractions in the Blue Mountains.

Ağaran waterfall -Rize- Turkey

Rize Province lies in the northeastern province of Turkey, along the Black Sea.  Contributor Secoko used a drone to aerially film the Ağaran Şelalesi waterfall, one of the most impressive bits of natural scenery in this part of Turkey.  The falls lie a bit inland from the Black Sea, due east of the provincial capital Rize.  As you'll see from the video, the cascading water forms beautiful spray patterns against the rocks.  The waterfall is part of a national preserve.

Contributor Wonderful World brings us this drone video of a gorgeous waterfall in the northern part of Portugal known as its Porto region.  The Geres waterfall is located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, which was established in the early 1970's to protect some of the unique wildlife of the mountainous area in the far northern parts of the country.  The park covers a part of the Portuguese side of the border region with Spain, about a 90 minute drive northeast of Porto.

Boti Falls

Just over 10 miles outside of Koforidua in southeastern Ghana, this is the beautiful Boti Falls.  Described as male and female by the locals, the twin waterfalls come together during the floods of the rainy season. Locals call it a 'mating ceremoy' when this happens and the falling water forms a rainbow near the base of the falls. This video showcases the tranquility of the falls with its natural sounds and beautiful views.

Helmcken Falls, BC, Canada. Winter.

British Columbia in Canada is known in part for its waterfalls, and Helmcken Falls is a standout with some very tough competition.  It's located in the Wells Gray Provincial Park, which is in east-central BC and lies due west from Jasper National Park in Alberta.  Helmcken Falls is on the Murtle River and features a drop of just over 140 meters (about 460 ft.).  In this epic drone video by Myworldphoto, you'll get a perfect bird's eye view of one of the best known falls in Western Canada.

Aruu Falls Flyby

Contributor Scientik built his own drone to create this video of Aruu Falls in Uganda, in the heart of Sub-Saharan Africa.  The falls are situated in the northern part of the country, not far from the border with Sudan.  Uganda is far less well known than some of its neighbors, namely Kenya, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  As you'll see from the video, it has beauty which is fully the equal of other countries in the region.
