Check out this beautiful aerial view of the Swiss city of Lausanne, compliments of contributor and drone pilot Falconskytech.  Located on the northern shore of Lake Geneva, it's the fourth most populous city after Zurich, Geneva (at the western end of Lake Geneva), and Basel.  Lausanne sits on the southern edge of the Swiss Plateau.  In 1923, the city hosted a peace conference to end the conflict between the Allied powers and Turkey, which was not settled at the earlier Versailles Conference.
