2020 Winter Surf Recap

Ex big wave surfer and author, Derek Dunfee, and I spent this winter chasing waves around our hometown of La Jolla, California. The lockdown kind of made this project happen as Derek and I are next door neighbors and had been wanting to connect to film more consistently, COVID ended up being the factor that caused our paths to truly convene. This is the result of many nights brainstorming and tracking swells, and many early mornings seeing if our imaginations had made a mirage of reality.
