24 hrs in a Hebridean Paradise

A single overnight stay on Lewis and Harris, only 24 hrs in total, afforded a small window of opportunity to capture something interesting during our October Scotland trip, usually impossile given the prevailing weather conditions at the time of year - normally 40 to 60mph winds.

But we were lucky, mainly light winds, sunshine and a few light clouds and a chance to visit and fly at just a few spots allowed us to capture t least something of the beauty and majesty of the Isles of Lewis and Harris...

Starting at the magnificent Seilebost beach with its turquiose waters, and then travelling on to the ancient Standing Stones of Callanish - filmed both at sunrise and during a sunny afternoon, and then ending at Dun Carloway Iron Age broch - where then wind was begining to return. Just enough to get a flavour of the Isles and perhaps to inspire others to make the boat trip over the Minch to these stunning Isles...
