On this episode of The Drone Dish we talk to Laurent Youm, AirVūz profile name YoumiTrip. Laurent has always had a passion for traveling, so when he found out about drones he knew he had to bring one along to document his adventures. Things started with a trip on the Trans Siberian Train, where Laurent scouted out the best places to fly his bird. His video "From Russia to New Zealand" took around 15 months to shoot. He said he took his time so he could find the most scenic places to shoot, and to double check that he wasn't breaking any rules! Even being careful, Laurent says he ran into a few hiccups while flying his drone in Moscow and in China while shooting on a mountain. He's flown many places, but still wants to get to South America to capture aerial images. "From Russia to New Zealand" is his favorite video he has uploaded on AirVūz because it shows so many different places that he's been. He says that he loves the Original Programming on AirVūz, it makes AirVūz stand out from other video sharing platforms. Thank you for taking time to chat with us, Laurent!
