A view towards the busy M1/M69/A46/A563 junctions and Fosse Park (retail) and Grove Park (business & hotels) and Meridian Leisure Park (bowling/cinema/restaurants). Due to these roads being main roads into and out of the City, inevitably they get extremely busy during peak periods. Incidentally, Fosse Shopping Park (it's official name) is one of Britain's biggest out-of-town shopping parks and is owned by the Crown Estate. When opened in 1989, Fosse Park commanded an average rent of £11/sq ft. In 2010, this had risen to £105/sq ft, higher than any other retail park in the UK. In 1976 my parents moved just 1/2 mile (1km) from this location. Then it was a farm and fields. Now it is one of the biggest out-of- town shopping parks in Britain! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fosse_Shopping_Park
