A short flight over Dominica

The mountainous country is filled with natural hot springs and tropical rainforests, including Morne Trois Pitons National Park which is home to a volcanically heated, steam-covered lake, sulphur vents, Titou Gorge, and Trafalgar Falls. The lush island looks just as incredible from above as it sounds.

When I was a kid I lived in Guadeloupe from 6 to 10 and went back frequently afterwards. I could always see in the distance the shape of the mountains of Dominica. I always thought I would go visit one day and I finally went in August 2019. This island is a green jewel. It's incredible to legit see rainforest on a small island. The Hurricane Maria destroyed every house and tree 2 years ago and you can see how vegetation grows over all the dead trunks. Nature will always survive! My drone had a issue with the gimbal and could never really provide stable shots... had to get a repair that was not covered even tho it was clearly a production defect (thank you DJI...) That's why the video is so short. Half the shots were just no good to use + my suitcase was lost for the first 5 days of the 7 I spent there so no batteries... Nonetheless a trip to remember. Go to Dominica! Or dont actually.. so it stays pure. Cheers ;)
