A Tribute to the Land of the Pure

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top contributor AbdulHanan created this beautiful aerial collage of northern Pakistan as a tribute to the nation's observance of its indepedence day.  Most of the footage is from the spectacular Hunza River Valley, in the extreme northern part of the country.  This area is part of the territory of Gilgit-Baltistan, one of the country's seven first-order administrative units.  It's part of the historical region of Kashmir, which was divided between Pakistan and India when they became independent of the British Empire.
