A trip to the village of Shiryaevo

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist VadimUshKa brings us this beautiful drone video from a trip to the heart of Russia's Volga Region. The area filmed is around the village of Shiryaevo, which lies on the Volga's right bank in the northern section of its great "bend", roughly halfway between Toyatti and Samara. It's part of the Zhigulyovsk District of the Oblast (province) of Samara. It's near the Zhiguli Mountains, which cover a portion of the backward "c" shaped land area created by the mighty river's great bend.

Our path lies in the village of Shiryaevo, which is part of the Zhigulevsk urban district. The village is located in a wide valley between the Zhigulevsky mountains. Samarskaya Luka is famous for its amazing views from the Zhigulevsky mountains. In Shiryaevo, you can visit such sights as the observation deck on Mount Popova, Shiryaevskie adits and the museum of the artist Ilya Repin. Tourist Samara is primarily the Samarskaya Luka National Park, which is located on the territory of Samarskaya Luka, the largest bend of the Volga River. Here you can spend wonderful vacations, weekends or take a day's walk. You can even hike in the mountains here. Let the Zhigulevsky mountains not be as high as the Caucasian ridges, and the highest point of the Zhigulevsky mountains is the peak of Mount Observer (381.2 m), but in the Zhigulevsky mountains there is where to go for tourist and professional mountaineering. The filming was carried out on drones DJI MAVIC 2 ZOOM, FIMI X8 MINI and DJI Pocket 2 handheld gimbal.
