Description: Action sports and drones are a popular combination. That was certainly the case in Southern California. AirVuz sent a crew to fly drones at Air and Style- part snowboard competition, part music festival. Our Tyler Mason was one of the pilots.
After stops in China and Austria, Air + Style made its way to Los Angeles. The two-day event, put on by Shaun White, combines competitive snowboarding and two stages of live music.
AirVuz was hired as the exclusive drone video provider. That included a live stream of the final day of competition, as well as an aerial look at the rest of the festivities.
Some of the world’s best snowboarders were there- launching from a 16-story snowboard ramp. Max Parrot of Canada took first place in the L.A. event.
Musical acts included Major Lazer, Flume, Atmosphere, Chromeo and many more.
Some rain over the weekend didn’t seem to stop the crowd from having fun.
As fans enjoyed the ground-level view, the unique view from the AirVuz drones couldn’t be beat. With the L-A Coliseum as a backdrop, Air + Style was best seen from the sky.
