Belém Tower (Torre de Belem) is one of the cultural treasures of Lisbon, Portugal.  It was built as a fortified tower in the 16th century, at the height of the great Portuguese Empire.  It was originally built in the center of the Tagus River, but the tsunaimi which followed the 1755 Lisbon Earthquake changed the river's path such that the tower is now near the shore.  Jorge Novo Murias brings us this beautiful drone video of the tower, now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
