AV News: Amazon Prime Days - DJI

The prices on some of DJI’s flagship drones haven’t dropped in quite a while, but that will change next week — at least for one day. The drone manufacturer will be taking part in Amazon’s Prime Days and will be offering discounts on some of its most popular drones. The DJI Mavic Pro, which normally retails for $1,000, will be available for $800. The Mavic Pro Fly More Combo, which includes extra batteries and accessories, will also be marked down. That combo can be purchased for $1,000, a $300 discount from the regular price. Additional offers from DJI on Amazon Prime Days will include a reduced price on the DJI Spark, and a free intelligent battery for anyone who purchases the Phantom 4 Advanced. Discounts on DJI’s flagship drones have led many to believe that a release of newer drones could be just around the corner. Rumors have begun to swirl about a potential DJI Mavic 2 or Phantom 5, though the company has not officially released anything about new products.
