See some lovely aerial footage of the beautiful blossoming cherry blossom trees at the University of Washington!
----
Its spring and here at AirVuz News we love to see great aerial footage of all the blossoming foliage and whatnot.
Thanks to Seattleite Dale Johnson, and his Phantom
4 drone, we can see the tops of cherry blossoms from
the University of Washington. As well as the tops of
many peoples’ heads… Flying over crowds of people is not recommended, in fact the FAA says its illegal, but that may soon change… No harm no foul I guess.
Rest assured, Dale is fully registered with the FAA and he checked with the University of Washington Police to make sure there are no restrictions for flying on campus, except over stadium events. They must not have nearly the amount of restrictions as those living in Washington DC… Here is what the FAA said about the their cherry blossoms:
"Welcome to the National Cherry Blossom Festival! The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Parks Service want you to know Washington D.C. is a no drone zone. The FAA has permanent flight restrictions in and around the national capital region. Flying a drone within theses areas at any time including the National Cherry Blossom Festival is a against the law and violators could face stiff fines and criminal penalties. Learn the rules at FAA.gov. Enjoy the cherry blossom festival, but leave your drone at home."Well we're looking forward to seeing more of your aerial spring photography. Just make sure you're in compliance with the FAA. And remember you can now upload in 4k right here at AirVuz.com
