Minnesota is known for its amazing art scene. Recently the state welcomed world renown artist Bruce Munro to the MN Arboretum to create one of his spectacular light displays. We decided to take a look at it from an elevated perspective.
The exhibit features five pieces- including four new works. Added up- they use more than 100 thousand lights.
From our drones, you can see the variety of different visually stimulating arrangements.
Munro- an English artist- mainly works in light, color and sound. He says he finds some of his inspiration from novelist C.S Lewis.
We spoke with Arboretum Marketing director Susie Hopper about seeing Munro's work from above.
Winter Light at the Arboretum' runs through the end of March. Tickets are available at the Arboretum's website.
