Abandoned Hotel Belvedere in Dubrovnik

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Just outside of Dubrovnik, Croatia, stands Hotel Belvedere, now an abandoned, derelict shell due to extensive damage from the Croation War of Independence from the country of former Yugoslavia. Film scouts for the Game of Thrones series found it's amphitheatre, facing the sea (and now adorning graffiti noting the Split soccer team), to be the perfect filming location for the final episode of Season 4 in which Prince Oberyn fights The Mountain. FPV Drone pilot Livyu also found it to be the alluring spot for some FPV freestyle flying.

The Hotel Belvedere was a 5-star luxury hotel destroyed in 1991 during an attack by Serbian forces on the city of Dubrovnik during the Croatian War of Independence. The hotel was only six years old. One of the most interesting bando place i have ever flown.
