Abandoned places. Ushaw College. Co Durham UK.
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
It's not common, but sometimes entire post-secondary institutions abandon their campuses. One such example is the Ushaw College, a one-time Catholic seminary in County Durham in Northeast England. Founded in 1808, it become the main training ground for priests in northern England. The college made it to the two century mark before being forced to close in 2011. Closed, but not forgotten. As you'll see in this drone video by johnisonline, abandoned places can provide great bird's eye views of the past.

Once used for the training of priests. Only partially abandoned but still very sad to see this beautiful old building with its stunning Victorian architecture, falling into ruin and vandalised. Other parts of the college are still in use and open to the public with some areas being refurbished. It has an incredibly rich and fascinating history - see http://www.ushaw.org/
